 ok i was natural but i decided to get a relaxer...

long story short the stylist seriously over-processed my hair. now i have frizzy ends that i MUST use heat on to straighten. i dont want to get a short hair cut, but if nothing can be resolved i will.

that stylist ought to be happy that i believe that 'its only hair...'

thanks sisters,

sounds like a clear case of damaged hair. you can either play around with it and use heat to get your desired look (hopefully) or its time to cut of the really bad parts and baby the rest. why did you decide to relax? how long had you been natural?

i cant believe im gonna say this........:wallbash:
but if you feel like you say in the black/bolded the just cut it off. the frizzy parts. i delt with that for too long. if hair is no thangg to you, why deal with an added pain in the a$$ with those crazy ends.

this is a case of holding on to frizzy ends. I say trim the ends and have a nice healthy looking head of hair. Frizzy ends now, will only contine to be frizzy ends.

i held on to some crazy ends for years. repressing them several times a day trying to make them work. them thangs were fried.

while i dont go ape over hair, i have never had short hair before, so i am a little apprehensive thats all :-) i am willing to take the plunge of my ends cant be saved...

co-signing with the ladies. I had a relaxer, asked for a texturizer though :wallbash::wallbash:, after being natural for 2 yrs. and this happened to me.

Over-processed ends really can't be saved. Get a trim and pamper your ends with a daily moisturizer.

Try to baby the ends for a few weeks to see if they look better before you cut them. If you keep adding heat that might lead to more damage. Try oiling then baggying the ends at night. Wear wraps I find that smooths out ends.

you gon' have to let them fried ends go...once you do that, you will need to moisturize, moisturize and use some more moisture to keep them healthy. i also like protective styling to keep healthy ends.

i am sorry this happend to you :hug2:
