Well, she hasn't always worn her hair straight on American Idol. Either way, her hair always looks nice.

in any case... i liked Syesha up until Rock and Roll week (last week was it?) and she sang Proud Mary. it wasn't even a decent Tina Turner impression. i was on the couch like erplexed NOT VOTING TONITE! and changed the channel.

so in that... i do hope David Cook wins, only because he's from Indiana.

yeah , she killed me with the tina turner wannabe act. she really has the skills but she needs to stop the impersonator acts.

She is very pretty. I like her hair either way. Her natural hair makes her look younger, and her straighter longer hair makes her a little more 'woman' ,if you will. All in all, she is going home, tonight!

When I first saw the new longer straight look I said "Oh no they weaved Syesha up I guess she said no more flat ironing." But then I saw her this week in her taped piece w/ the fro so I knew it must be a wig was relieved until I saw that she decided to wear the wig again. It's ok to change it up but the weave/wig thing is not her.

Yeah I think Simon has something against curly hair. I do remember when he said something to Kim Locke about her "crazy hair" or whatever.

I've seen people make a lot of fun of his hair on other boards, since he looked like he was balding in the beginning. He's definitly had some pieces or a toupee or something to "help" his hair, and it still looks a HAM.

That other "rocker" from way back in the season was outed for wearing a wig!

Its funny how Simon comments on curly hair when his gf Terri Seymour(well maybe ex now?) has curly hair and appears to be half black. Kimberly Locke's hair was similar so who is he to talk?

I just think he means that most curly hair don't fit the ideal industry standard. It very cute for everyday, but as far as stage performances, it may not translate into super stardom!

scorpion - she does some work on the local news here in Los angeles. stuff about american idol and such. during this season she has had it straight a time or 2. i do not like her hair straight. i never feel like that about anyone. i love straight hair. but on her i love her curls so much better.

This is the Problem. Everyone thinks of SOMEONE else when they see her perform. She forgot that she was supposed to be herself.

I was in Miami a week ago and saw Sayesha in one of those commercials for the schools where you can get a degree in massage therapy in 6 months..ya'll know what im talkin' about...She can act though, I mean that particular commercial didn't seem as cheesy as all the rest of them...

As far as her hair, I like that she switches it up from time to time. She looks nice every week...

Yeah but there's a difference between her hair and Syesha's, Nadia's, Kimberly's, and even Jordin's hair. We all know what that is.

It's sad to see them fry a beautiful head full of curls and coils into a stringy mess by the end, then they pretty much have to wear it straight. Look at the condition of Jordin Spark's hair near the end of her season her ends wouldn't even curl up anymore. That's probably why Syesha opted for the wig/weave thing. It's just seems like there is pressure to keep it straight on that show.
