Here are my wash 'n fros. The first pic is the second day (and second wash) of my wash 'n fro. The second is a fresh wash 'n fro of hair that was in a twist out and highlighted, so its more clumpy. The pics were taken 2 weeks apart

here's a recent pic i took of my "naked" hair - washed and conditioned, but no additional products or manipulation whatsoever. air dryed and that's it:

*generally i will at least leave some conditioner in my hair (squeeze the excess out in the shower instead of rinsing) or will use an actual leave-in, and do some sort of styling to my wash and go. normally it looks more like my hair in my siggy (more coil definition and not as "big")

Hi LadyLibra, I am very impressed by your hair. I am a 4a hair type and I never knew that it was possible to have that kind of curl definition just by leaving the conditioner on your hair. When you do that, isn't it sticky when you touch it even dry. I will definetely try that next time I CW. Keep up the good work

nope not any different than when i use a regular leave-in condish. i'm sure it depends on the conditioner though (i use V05 or TJ Nourish Spa).

and thanks for the compliment!

I LOVE IT!!

Now....above when you say you usually do "some sort of styling" and end up with more definition...what exactly do you do to it??

Beautiful hair!

plopping and then shaking my hair like crazy afterwards. plopping helps soak up the excess water/product without frizzing your hair, and shaking supposedly helps prevent the coils from intertwining with each other as much (better movement cuz they don't dry stuck together in a big poofball).

sometimes after detangling i use a brush while the conditioner is still in my hair. normally my hair (especially the canopy) is S-waves that only coil on the ends, when i use a brush my hair coils from roots to ends. (of course this also means more shrinkage though) i am thinking about investing in a Denman though, cuz my poor cheapie brush is missing quite a few bristles now... :lachen:

lastly the Curlisto method gave me some good definition (i did a video on this if you don't know what it is). i probably won't be doing it again until the weather gets cold though, it's too much to do every day but it's great if you're only gonna wash your hair once or twice a week because the style lasts a few days without needing to be redone.

***thanks for the compliment too, you know i am one of your secret hair stalkers!
