I was gonna post the same thing. I've seen that video before but I still can't grasp the concept at all. I think I need slower step by step directions, lol.

I've seen this video before as well.
I've just watched it again, copying the girl on the video and got the hang of it after a minute and a half - two minutes :yay:.
It was a bit hard to stop my hands from following the natural plaiting movement, but I snapped outta that real quick :naughty: .
Cool! But after two decades, I still can't cornrow properly :ohwell: :wallbash:.

I started doing 3 strand before 2 strand......that's how my aunt would twist my hair for school when I was a kid.

LOL..Yeah, her directions are kinda fast...I had to hit the PAUSE button when the step 2 popped up. I kept saying RIGHT strand over middle, then left...:lachen:

Thank you for that video! I had to watch it 3 times to understand but that's less than a 10 minute time investment:grin: I can't wait to try these!

Thanks for posting this! I'm going to try doing a twist out on my relaxed hair using this method.

You just have to think of it as doing twists with two strands--the same way you would just twist one over the other, you twist one over the other two. Think about that as a mental exercise, then watch the video and see if that helps.

That's exactly what I had to do. The hard part was getting my mind and fingers to agree that this was NOT a braid.:spinning:

I think I got it. I had to really concentrate hard at first, lol.

Anyone have pics of a twist-out with these. I wonder what's the difference.

I was able to to get it pretty easily with help from the video. I'll have to do my whole head tonight and see how it turns out.

I just washed my hair and did half a head. It takes so long. On the other half i did 2 strand. I got tired.

I GOT IT! Actually on the first try. Don't let all the fancy fingerwork throw you off. She's just putting the right strand over the other two, and keeps repeating that motion.

Thanks for the vid! I'll try this on my whole head soon. :)
