hey

maybe this was already posted but anyone have any ideas. before when i washed my hair it would wave up a bit but now its just straight. is a bun the only option.

I'm attempting my first wash & go as we speak :spinning:
After washing & conditioning my hair I applied a bit of NTM silk leave in
then sprayed a liberal amount of John Frieda Dream Curls & Clearly Defined gel. I scrunched in small sections & now I'm letting it air dry.
I'll know within the next 2 hours if it's OK to venture out of the house without lookinng a H.A.M. :look:
If all else fails I'll rewash & do my usual rollerset
Good Luck :drunk:

if you have like an hour or two before you go out, what i do is

after i put my leave-in in, put my hair into a very loose ponytail (so my hair doesn't dry with a crimp where the ponytail is), then curl my ends under and put my hair bonnet on.

once my hair is dry or semi-dry i can take the bonnet off and the hair is straight and the ends are bumped under.

if i skip over the ponytail, there's a bit of wave from where the hair touching the bonnet dries. both are pretty.

hope this helps

I am going to try a wash and go during the summer. I work at a high school and the kids can be brutal. They mad fun of me for taking out my extensions and rocking my own hair. LOL! Kids will be kids though! But I need extra time to experiment with my hair before I wear it to work.

I usually use some type of moisturizer and then mousse to scrunch and let dry. For me less is more when it comes to product and a wash & go
