aphogee treatment

Is this the one that you sit under the dryer with to make your hair hard?
That's the one. They say you can do it every 6-8 weeks. My hair dryer is in storage and I haven't taken the time to go get it out, so I can't do this treatment. I used the last of it when I was still living in GA anyway.

I've been using this off and on for years and I believe it's a very good product. Just make sure you follow up with aphogee's balancing moisturizer or your hair will feel like straw. And yes, I am speaking from experience LOL

im actually under my soft bonnet now doing a treatment, prepping for my touch up next week. I have used it twice, not knowing about the 6-8 week thing but i have seen less breakage.

Yes, I absolutely love this stuff so far. Ive been doing it over the past 2 months because my hair cuticle has been damaged by heat from hard presses.:perplexed
I have definately seen a reduction in split ends.

What is your mother's regimen?

1.pre-poo's w/ Dubar's Alma oil everyday
2. shampoo's w/ Patene Relaxed & Natural everyday
3. Condtion w/ Patene R & N everyday
4. deep condtion w/ miss key's dc every other week
5. air dry
6. put black castor oil & olive oil in scalp
7. moisturize w/ Patene R & N daily oil cream

*** I called her at work to find this out lol***

Yes, please make sure you moisturize. I did a treatment Saturday. I hadn't done one in a while so I guess I'm out of practice. I didn't get enough moisture so I'm a little "crunchy." (I'm loving how my hair is looking this week so I'll deal with the crispiness for now.) The treatment is great for adding strength. My hair missed it.

Tay, your mom. OMG. Beautiful!

OMG Beautiful!!!

This just gave me another reason to keep washing my hair daily!:yep:

I've reviewed this extensively in my Sally's review album (see my fotki).

You don't have to use the moisturizer afterwards as long as you use a HIGH QUALITY DC. I've made my own mixes that were far better. But we're talking salon quality with oils, honey, and EOs added DC.

I think I will try this sometime this week and follow up with KeraCare Humetco conditioner instead of the recommended aphogee one.
