I rcvd my BT today (so excited - loving the smell)...but ummm... ok... here are my questions...1st...its an oil so how do I keep it from leaking down my head? 2nd. Is it suppose to start making my head hot as soon as I apply it? (Feel like my scalp has a fever) 3rd... Do I puncture a hole in the applicator tip and if so (which I already did) do I need to "clog" or cover?

I'm a first time bt user too. I got mine two weeks ago .when your applying the oil only put a lil bit in your hair and rub it evenly thru out your hair. I found a white cover from another bottle I wasn't using from a different product and use it for the bt bottle after I puncture the hole. But I don't know why it didn't come with a cover period.oh yes my head wasn't hot after I used maybe someone will chime in with more knowledge. Anyways I saw some results already I love it my hair is filling up like crazy!!can't wait until you start seeing some results too.

I got mine today too! I'm very excited. Mine came with a little red cap for the bottle tip so i just put a whole in the white part.

It little goes a long way, so used enough to massage into the scalp so it's not running down your head.

With regard to the scalp fever...have you ever used sulfur products before? Did you do a test area first? Because it's not supposed to make your head hot...

I just got mine today and used it for the first time. This oil spreads very easily, so a little goes a long way. I poured a little squirt in about 6 different places on my head and massaged it in. No extra oil was running downmy neck because I didn't use too much.

My bottles came with little red caps. But I noticed one of the bottles was missing a cap, so I had to look around in the box for it. I guess it had fallen off during transit. If you still have your box, look inside of it, I'm sure the little cap is in there :yep:

I didn't have any burning sensation with BT. Did you do a patch test first? If you've never used any sulpher products, you should definitely do a patch test to make sure you aren't allergic. Try pm'ing NaturalLady-I mean StillALady. So used to calling her NL

I got mine earlier this week. I really felt dizzy and had a headache after I drenched my head in this stuff, when I first got it.:spinning: But, over the couple of days, I learned to use less. Also I have noticed that some spots were filling in. My hair does feel a bit thicker, too. We'll see where this goes, ladies!

My head would feel alittle warm sometimes when I used it. I think it was a combo of the sulfur and the brisk massage I used to rub it in. it wasn't unpleasant though.

Ladies with BT a little goes a long way. No you head does not need to be dripping with it. U can us a pin to create the hole.

I have a question for all the BT users: I've been using mine for a few days now and I'm starting to get the growth itchies...is it ok to scratch? I'm heard opposing positions; scratching stimulates growth vs. scratching is bad for the scalp?

I'm a BT user, have been for about 6 months now. I wanted to clarify something I saw posted. You should NOT be putting the solution on your hair. you should even try to avoid putting it on your hair. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but Sulfur dries out your hair, so you want to minimize getting the solution on your hair and do your best to apply directly to your scalp.

What I do is put whatever moisturizing product on my hair and then seal with an oil... once my hair (length) is sealed with oil, then I part my hair in sections, apply the oil and massage into scalp.

I think the solution was created to create a healthy scalp which = a healthy hair growing enviroment... I believe that was the thought behind it.

I've been using BT off and on for about 8 months. I got good growth from it. You don't need to use a lot- so it really shouldn't be running down you neck or face. I part my hair and sparingly apply it to the part and then rub the BT into the part and proceed to do this throughout my head. This keeps the BT from running down my neck/face.

I've never had a problem after scratching b/c the BT actually soothed my scalp and I didn't get the itchies.

The one thing I did learn was that I had to stop using the BT for a full 2 weeks before relaxing. I initially stopped 1 week before, but I burned pretty badly- so I had to bump that to 2 weeks and I had no burning. I think b/c at 2 weeks I poo'd and DC about 3 times so maybe the residue from the BT was off my scalp or my pores had time to close by the time I got relaxed. HTH

I used some for the first time last night and I didn't feel a thing. No burning, no tingling, no cooling sensation, not anything .. and I used a good amount ... is that a bad sign :perplexed
