I was looking at the ingredients for this and I don't see what about it will correct color. Not a permanent one, at least.
Ascorbic Acid, Dextrose, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Gluconate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, Citric Acid, Xanthan Gum, Betaine, Silica.
Here are the ingredients in their hard water treatment:
Dextrose, Ascorbic Acid, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Gluconate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Betaine, Silica.
Not much difference.![]()
I don't know about Bigen or whatever else, but I got it based on my friend/stylist's recommendation to remove MY semi-perm color. As far as what ingredient(s) does that, I really don't know or care as long as it isn't harsh which she said it wasn't so I'm willing to try it for $3.50/pk. Perhaps it's the concentration levels of ea ingredient that makes a difference. Just looking at the two you posted, the dextrose and ascorbic acid are flipped...just a thought. I plan on posting a review once I get it and use it so we all shall see
