HELLO I SPOKEN WITH MY SUPERVISOR AND SHE TOLD ME THAT SHE SHAMPOOS AND PUTS CONDITIONER IN HER HAIR, BUT SHE DOESN'T RINSE THE CONDITIONER OUT:grin: THIS LEAVES SHE HAIR HIGHLY CONDITIONED AND FILLED WITH MOISTER:drunk:
THIS MAY NOT WORK FOR FLAT IRONS BUT ID SUGGEST THIS TO ALL THE WASH AND GO LADIES, THIS WILL SAVE YOU MONEY FROM THE LEAVE INS
ITS NOT LIKE SOME OF YOU DON'T SLEEP WITH CONDITIONER IN YOUR HAIR:lachen:
BY THE WAY SHE HAS WAVY HAIR AND VERY LONG, SHE HAS BEEN DOING THIS FOR 12 YEARS

SORRY FOR THE CAPS LOL:wallbash:

i've been meaning to ask whether this is good for the hair or not. I leave some of it in. I rinse some out because i use ALOT of condition but my hair is usually softer when i do this....

it should :yep: but i wouldn't recommend this with a flat iron
but washes definitely
she also added its the same ingredients exept 1 or 2 things they ass or take out, and conditioner isnt soapy either:yawn:

yep. i used to do what ur sup does back when i was in jr hi and high school. i learned it from another natural girl. i stopped doing that when i began using heat on a regular and then moved to relaxers. now that i'm back to natural i am doing it again.

conditioner that's left in doesn't bother your hair unless it's a dc...ur suppose to rinse dc's out.

seems to me that doing this regularly is asking for quick build-up & "heavy" hair.. could also lead to over moisturizing; breakage

i do this with mane n tail conditioner, i only leave a little in.
it makes my hair very soft. this conditioner can be used as a leave in.

Does she use a little or a lot , What does she use? I am on the search for a good conditioner that I can leave in. I straighten my hair this weekend i rather stay natural I don't like the straight look on me right now. Maybe when my hair gets longer.

I used to do this when I regularly relaxed my hair.
I didn't have any problems...wait :perplexed ...I better start doing it again :wallbash:

I think i may do this on my relaxed hair and rollerset as usual. I'm thinking the curls should be even more hydrated and silky looking.

I just co-washed and rollerset for the first time and i'm pleased with the results.

I agree. Hair should have a balance of moisture and protein. I'll keep doing my routine!!!! If, it aint broke then don't fix it!

I usually do this. I apply a lot of conditioner, but rinse out a little bit - that way I can give the conditioner time to work and leave a little in. My hair likes it :yep:

I like to do this but it sometimes leaves my hair looking dull and sandy from the residue. How do I prevent this? What moisturizers/conditioners are you ladies using?

You can add some oil to control the dullness. The residue may be because you are using to much and the type of conditioner you use. I typically do it with NTM and I don't get any residue. I don't know how to prevent the 'limp hair' I get doing this, that's why I only do it when my hair will end up in a bun.

I leave the whole ORS pak in my head.... but wheni do this I am only braid bunning and I put some kemi oyl on the the top layer for a tad of shine.

she said she tryed a lot
shes used sunsilk pantine
even sauve:grin: etc. don't hesitate
and if u dont feel comfortable u can always leave a little in:yep:

i used to do this but after awhile i didnt like the way my hair felt....it was like a nasty film ...but i also wasnt really clarifying back then...

well maybe u could use a little in your hair while its wet
and use is as a hair lotion it might be better like this:yep:

I guess I do a variation of this: I have started co-washing. I rinse out my conditioner, but before I style I put in a bit of Nexxus condish as a leave-in. Works great.

I have been doing this for the last few weeks from advice from my girl TaraDyan...I think it works best if you don't use conditioners that have cones. I have been using V05 conditioners and they are as cheap as it gets pretty much...whenever I do this I just wear a bun and my hair stays soft all day and well into the next day. I have never tried doing a rollerset afterwards but that may be something to try to see what results I get.
