Why haven't I seen anything about Carol's Daughter?

Do you guys like the stuff? I usually don't buy the stuff targeted towards African Americans, but if they sell it at Sephora it's fair game. I've not heard anything about it. If you do use it, what products?

I use to like the healthy hair butter and hair milk, however I have since found better products in Jane Carter's line.

Hey *fabulosity* !

Here's a recent link. Personally, I don't like CD's products w/ exception of Tui Hair Oil.

I use the Khoret Amen hair oil and the Hair Balm. I like both of those products a lot. Her Some of Maguerite's Magic saved/repaired my nape area when I first joined LHCF.

Her products broke me out so bad I was sensitive to warm water. Those perfumed-oils are in almost everything, and are too much for my skin and scalp.

Too greasy, too sticky and I don't like the scents for the hair products. I like the bath and body products though.

ETA: My roomate uses the Tui Hair Oil. I tried it a few times and it was alright. I generally don't use oil though.

I'm not too keen on piling overpriced beeswax on my hair :ohwell:

There are soooo many more natural haircare lines that CD can't hold a candle to. Better quality and better priced. Qhemet Biologics, My Honey Child and She Scent It to name a few....

I was happy when I ordered her stuff cuz it's "natural" but after using the khoret amen poo n leave-in co, hair balm, and lisa's elixir the first few tries............:nono: it made my scalp itch so bad i thoght it was on :burning:. I used to use the saturday morning special on my dd but now I'll only use tui oil...just to send my lil one to school with her hair smellin' good. Her stuff is crap...doesn't do me any justice. but u never know unless you try it.

I personally have gotten good results from Asha's (Mane Attraction - love it! - and the Green Tea leave in), and from Qhemet Biologics, as well as some Oyin Handmade products. I will continue to order from those three before I'll purchase CD products. Only time I'd try CD is if she is running a "free shipping" offer. Even with that - she's done it a few times now - I still haven't ordered anything. Right now it's all about the Mane Attraction butter.

I really like the Hair Balm, I use that every few days. I also use Tui hair oil. The Black Vanilla leave in smells great, doesn't do much. That's my two cents!

I know Im crazy but I buy the Black Vanilla leave in even though it does NOTHING for my hair... it just SMELLS so freaking good

and I like the Sea Moss shampoo but Ive found others I like about as much for a lot less
