The B/F strikes again

This morning I was in the bathroom doing flat cornrows so I could wear my wig. I don't really like cornrowing my hair becuase it's so thick and my arms hurt ...B/f came in there and saw me struggling. The best thing he found to say was that he's gonna drug me and bring me to a salon and tell the hairsdresser to hook me up.... meaning that I should relax my hair

yep....did my BC 9 months ago and my hair is just a bit longer than what you see in my sig now.

I just rolled my eyes at him.....he's supportive of my journey for the most part but sometimes he likes to crack jokes on me.

he is joking, i was gonna say if u had not BC'd mayb he didnt think you were serious about going natural....... hopefully he can appreciate some of your natural styles and just get used to it.

he likes to see my hair neatly combed.....when I do WnG's he thinks I look "crazy"
he doesn't like when I do cornrows (all back) he thinks lesbos should keep that style.
He cares what I do because sometimes I complain how difficult it can be to manage my hair so he thinks it would be easier for me if I wore my hair straight.

When ignoring doesn't work, remind him the couch is a warm soft bed for men who don't like your nappy hair. Even better, his own bed can be a personal refuge from your naps. He is not dumb. I genuinely believe that in relationships, your beauty should not be of his concern because how YOU see yourself is the most important thing. How would he like it if you said those things about something he admires very much about his aesthetics?

But it's your beauty that attracts them in the first place. To an extent, anyway...right? I like that my DH takes an interest in my hair. I like the compliments and I appreciate the criticism. And, he's my best friend. I value his opinion greatly.
