A lot of the same practices, the main difference is demographics. LHCF is majority black and LHC is majority white.

As mentioned, no, but I found out about LHCF from LHC. I was there asking a question and a white lady there, equally a hair lover, mentioned that there were great tips on LHCF for black hair. She said that she even got tips. There are black women that are members of LHC and the white members visit here sometimes. That is why I know they see the racial comments. :perplexed I always feel odd about it because I know if they made similar comments on their board the way we do, all hellz would break loose. Okay that was off topic, but I often think of it,

I was a member there first too. They lock threads with a quickness over there so i don't remember seeing any racial comments.

Oooh, Durrrr!! TLHC! Whhooops, okay.

I think I was a member there before I was a member here - or it was pretty close. Yeah - they have LOTS of really good information on hair there...... there was even more before the board crashed.....

Exactly, ITA.

I occasionally go over there and lurk.

I use their search feature sometimes

But I never joined.

LHCF is my true love - :blowkiss:

Dummy me:rolleyes:

When I first started participating on this board, I got addicted with a quickness, but dummy me didn't save the link to here. Well one day I went surfing around and landed up on LHC from some other link somewhere on the web, and I had saved that link so that I can go back to it later.

Well I hadn't been online in like 3-4 days that time. So when I did get back online, I clicked on the link I had saved, expecting it to take me to LHCF. Upon loading, I'm like this ain't the right board, but I looked at the web address and KNEW I had the right addy, but darn if it wasn't showing me the site correctly. I mean I was seeing some LONG, blonde, black or brunette heads and I'm like "THAT ain't right!" I'm like telling myself I found an awesome hair care forum and I done freakin lost it:wallbash: :wallbash: I kept reloading that darn link and I never got back to it.

So I went searching for a thread that I know I seen on LHCF, and it came up on google of the correct site I was looking for. Upon first inspection, I took a good hard look at the web addy, and realized I really was close LOL And from that point on I saved the link into my Firefox Bookmark Toolbar, so now all I gotta do is look at the toolbar and click to go to LHCF now!

so true :yep:

I am a member of both. I spend most of my time on LHCF and go to LHF when this site is down....thanks Niko:yawn:. A lot of the advice is the same and both can benefit from info on both sites.

No... this forum is majority black and mostly type 4 hair where the other one is not. I'm sure some of the info is the same though. Hair is hair.
