Girl, We Could Ride in my Convertible...Unless you have "hair" issues

FoxieRoxie just posted how a dude commented on how soft and pretty her hair was. He said it was pretty enough to run his fingers thru it. It made her feel good, as it should, and proud that she did not have to give that weave warning: "Stop, Tracks Ahead!!!":stop:

It reminded me of this weekend's episode of The Game. Derwin was macking to some chick in the club, and offered a ride in his convertible "Unless you have hair issues" he said looking at her head, doing a weave check. I found that to be hilarious.

What are some hair issues you feel get in the way of the Dating Game? or with your SO?

Only issue I have is if i'm in the middle of going to sleep (starting dreamy land) sometimes i can hear DH deeply inhaling the scent on my hair. He practically has his nose to my scalp. That can be frustrating at times when you are really tired.:perplexed

Lol LadyEsquire! When I was religiously rocking weaves, I would never let my SO try to run his fingers in my hair. I didn't even really like him touching it. Now I'm definitely a "you BEST NOT pull my hair" because if a strand or two ends up in his hands he's SO dead lol.

That's all really. I'd love to be in a convertible now, I used to worry about tracks showing when the wind blows. Now I'm a damn fool because I make sure my hair catches in the wind ever-so-girlie like, lol.

now that i'm more hair conscious, it definitely gets in the way when my SO and I get ready to...you know...:kissing4:...the mood is totally killed if he even accidentally pulls or tugs it...and i HATE the feeling of my hair rubbing on the pillow! arghhhh...i never imagined this hair stuff could be so serious!

I thought that was cute, but maybe it would get old after a while :). I usually tie my hair up right after I get home, but one evening I decided to wear my hair down for a while since my SO says he never sees my hair. We were laying in bed on satin pillows I purchased- I had to get more than one pillowcase because in the middle of the night I felt like I had to fight him for my pillow because he kept trying to put his head on it. I jumped up to get the remote and he was laying on my hair:wallbash:. I almost gave myself whiplash. Never again:perplexed.

I literally LOL on the bolded....how about being awoken a fingers feeling/rubbing your new growth. He does it in his sleep. He does not realize he is doing it.

My fiance knows the deal when we are....you know what....he puts my satin pillow under my head before we start, because he knows I don't play that!

Wait i dont get it :lachen: What would riding in the convertible do to her hair if there was a weave in it?

Well, let me see if I can recall back that far to when I was dating...LOL

Not really, I guess I'm not that hair obsessed. My hair is my "spot" so I love it when a man plays in my hair. My ex used to hold me and rub my scalp to help me fall asleep....worked like a charm every time.

I just want it long enough that he has to push it out of my face when I'm on top...LMBO!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree!! I can't wait for that!

I'm mad we all have that same goal. but yeah I had to start outweighing how badly i really wanted some because my hair was getting sweated out every single week. U talking bout mad. the sacrifices we make for hair.

Someone called my rollerset was a jheri curl. People look at you funny around my way if you're rocking curls.:perplexed But a Jheri Curl?:lachen:

My hair is always in a scarf or hair bonnet or in a bun... not exactly the sexy.

Half the time, I look like a pilgrim.:ohwell:

haha! thats too funny!

the last time I say my friend, i had in my extension braids. I felt so weird when he was touching my hair, I was just like "how are you gonna be stroking some kanekalon:perplexed"

when he comes back to nyc, I can't wait to have a fresh rollerset, but i think i'm too paranoid to have someone playing in my hair. I'll have to do a nail check prior to make sure there are no snaggles.

LOL at some of the stories/comments. I hate when I just get it blown out or I roller set it, because I can't afford to sweat up my hard earned money or work. I try to remove his hands from my hair! But one issue I have with him, and he wont stop is he doesn't just pull lightly. He grabs and then roughly pulls. But sometimes I am so caught up:look:

i hate when i get my hair braided and some asians say dumb stuff to me like..ohh you look african today! im like oooook? and then people make fun of my big forehead:ohwell:

My man is away right now but when he gets back I should have rules posted next to the bed.
1. No pulling!
2. No rubbing my head in the sheets or on the pillow!
3. Gently run your hands through my tresses, DO NOT RUB THOSE HUGE MAN HANDS ROUGHLY IN MY TRESSES!(you know how they get when it's getting good!)
4. If you see my head wrap in the bed and I'm asleep, quietly replace it on my head!
:lachen::lachen::lachen:

I think I'm going to have some business size cards made up with these quotes

the problem is that he NEVER wanted to let me sleep with it wrapped up. . . but he said I was cute with rollers. :ohwell: how do u expect the rollers to STAY IN my hair!?! and that's if I was "allowed" to sleep with it wrapped/rolled up at all. boyfriend was the WORST thing to happen to my hair. :wallbash: all those nights on those hard a*s guy pillow cases.

man how do yall get the scarf to stay on during? i've tried tying two, tying at tightly as i could, a bonnett on top of the scarf (none of which is sexy) and that thing is off within 10 minutes.
