Hi ladies, i was wondereing if yall could help a newbie out! money it tight right now and my hair is looking bad (good thing i work from home) my new growth is starting to come in but not too much that i cant manage. i posted pics of my breakage in the back and wanted some suggestions on what i can do with my hair for the time being. i dont think a touch up is a good idea right now with the breakage, so can yall tell me like what inexpensive products i can go get to maintain my hair and treat it until i can do more? i brought the aphoghee treatment for damaged hair weeks ago but have not used it yet because i have not bought any cholestoral yet. so can you tell me some must haves for right now, doesnt have to be a certain bran but what you can recommend that i must have in my cabinet right now? Thank yall again, and i hope you can help a sistah out!

for protein you could have added an egg to your conditioner
for moisture you can try to use a moisturizing conditioner and maybe do daily conditioning washing to help soften the new growth. You can also try and add some oil to your hair (castor oil, EVOO) We have just started a cayenne pepper challenge to increase growth you might to try that to see if you get growth.

Shampoos

Cream of Nature detangling shampoo (green bottle)
ORS Aloe Shampoo (to clarify)

Conditioners

Motions Moisture Plus

Protein Conditioners

Motions CPR treatment

Leave In Conditioner

Neutragena Triple Moisture Leave In

Silk/Satin Scarf

Wide Tooth Comb

You said you're on a budget so I broke it down to the very last compound for ya! Plus, these are some of my staple products. Do you know your hair type?

I agree with tsmith. Would also like to add World of Curls (quite inexpensive) as a leave-in.
