Activate got some NERVE leaving me all shiny, soft and detangled 12 weeks post :wallbash::wallbash:

I used the shampoo and the hair repair last night and as soon as I took the rollers out  :happydance: :yay:  ::dance7:

Now why can't I find anymore at Biglots now....I guess I will have to pay full price online.

I LOVE ACTIVATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got rid of ALL MY OTHER SHAMPOOS AND CONDITIONERS! Well they are in a box ready to be given away or sold.

The entire set is WONDERFUL!

I wash my hair with the poo, leave the hair repair on for 30 min or so and then a final rinse with the conditioner. It gives me more slip then the Hair Repair does after 30 min. The Hair Repair in a few min gives me good slip, but after 30 min not as much.

Anyway, it is just what I like too - sulfate free AND cone free.

Okay GF, what's activate? :look:

Hydrating Conditioner Enriched with Hydro-Infused™ Complex, ACTIVATE® Hydrating Conditioner restores moisture and revitalizes shine. A unique blend of Cupuaçu Butter and Vitamin E, ACTIVATE® Hydrating Conditioner strengthens and nourishes hair.

I just got the Hair Repair and the Hydrating Conditioner and I love them. I agree with HoneyDew on the results. I haven't used the shampoo, though. Love this line!!!

Okay GF, what's activate? :look:

Its a line that was targeted to Latina women. It has a shampoo, two conditioners, styling cream and I think like 2more products. It is also sulfate free and cone free. I was really really really impressed. You can still buy it online from them directly. Check your biglots too.

Girl YES!!!!!!! That shampoo was so good. I was like wow, let me put on some more. The hair repair is THICK. Yall said it was thick but I was like dang. I am praying the big-lots here gets another shipment of it so I can go buy them out. I am going to check all 3 stores every 2-3 days for the next month. It really is that serious right now.

*passes out* Don't dare speak such horrid things :lachen::lachen:

Your hair looks bomb in your avatar pic btw:yep:

I'm sorry, GF! But it's true! I used it a couple times thinking it was a fluke. I just used it last week and the SAME THING happened! I thought my scalp was gonna bleed from having to scratching it! (Sniff!)

And thank you for the hair compliment! There's hope!

:yep: Yeah, get outta here while you can. You know gym and her recommedations. Always getting somebody riled up! You know if I didn't already have this stuff I would be running down to Big Lots! :look: Gymfreak gets me every time (still lovin' that Joico MR Balm!!).

:giggle: *in the steve urkel voice* Did I do that? :lachen::lachen:

Glad you liked that balm, thats another thick conditioner. I am using some of it to protect my ends when I relax:yep:

I tired the conditioner a few washes ago with high hopes but it didn't do anything special.I tried it as a leave in on soaking wet hair which works better for me.I love teh activate lotion mixed with HE LTR leave in.

I will keep this in mind when I try the conditoner. I have only used the hair repair so far even though I bought both. Thanks for the tip

The Hair repair is pretty thick but when you massage it in, it kinda foams and gets lighter. Much lighter. At least that was my experience.

Also, I don't really care for the Leave-In. I did, at first, and I really do think it is a good product. But, I CANNOT stop using my Qhemet Leave-in. I just can't! :drunk:

I have several of the leave-ins. I need to give them away. I will never use them. I just can't cheat on my Qhemet Olive Cream Detangler leave-in.

At least I tried though.

Also, it took me a while to love the shampoo. It does not have chelating ingredients (I have hard water) and I had stopped using my Kenra Clarifying with each wash like I had been doing.

Uh, my hair rebelled! I mean seriously. :ohwell: It demanded Kenra clarifying and that no clarifying stuff last all but 2 washes. So if I use that for one lather, the Activate shampoo can be my 2nd lather for moisture.

And to be honest, I don't think this is a miracle line. I hope no one gets any high hopes and uses it and is like BLAH! For me it is amazing because I am sulfate and cone free (except with my chelater and my heat protectant) and many products just don't do it for me even though they fit the bill.

To find a line to fit my requirements and still make my hair feel great has been priceless. I will continue to use it unless I find something different.

I bought the Activate conditioners because of Honeydew and my hair loved it too.:yep:
GYM-Did you happen to see the Cabots Protein Pack at your Big Lots,
Dont Sleep on this conditioner its great.

I finally saw some at my Biglots today, but it was only the hair repair/conditioner and something called Straightening Cream. For a $1.50, I couldn't help but pick up a couple of bottles to try.

WHY did I come in here???? :wallbash:

I JUST bought up a bunch of stuff from SweetCashew and I love her products. But cone and sulfate free are two of my requirements, and you guys are making me want to try it-- NO!!! I DO NOT need anything else! I'm not gonna bite, I have enough AND I love shescentit products. I told myself I would stick to 1 line only.

*going off to google Activate and see if I can find a good deal* :user:

Girl, please as a friend, I have to tell you PLEASE don't get caught up. You can only find it online unless you catch it at Big Lots and it really is some good stuff.

So if you do not plan on being stuck ordering stuff, pass it by! I HATE that they pulled it off the shelves.

But if you insist, the cheapest is here: http://www.americarx.com/SearchProducts.aspx?SearchText=activate.

Well their shipping is the cheapest it seems.

They are all $6.99 on the site: http://www.activatebeauty.com/eng/products.cfm but the shipping from them can get high.

Ebay has some too.

But, still, I hope you don't even let yourself go there. :spinning::drunk:

I purchased the Hydrating Conditioner and the Hair Repair last Friday on a whim...well...because $1.50 ain't nothin' to sneeze at :drunk: I am going to have to get on this and use it, but ya'll may have me go back to get the rest.

This is crazy, Activate is totally on my things to try list, I'd actually forgotten about it. See now I'm about to go hit up Big Lots tomorrow. lol I'm glad you got good results gym. :yep:
