Anyone tried BT as a hot oil treatment?

I have BT but I would warn against heating it. I think it will make the sulphur smell really strong. I may be wrong but I think I read that somewhere.

Thanks! is it true that deep conditioners promote growth better than applying oils. My hairdresser told me you get better progress and hair growth this way.

I think DC with heat would help your hair retain moisture, which in turn would make it easier for you to see length as your hair grew.

If you use a growth aid and you hair grows 2" a month (highly unlikely, but for the sake of arguement) it won't make any difference if your hair is breaking off - you'll never see your hair get any longer.

:nono: No, no, no, you don't want to do that.

I don't use BT, but I use sublimed sulfur that has almost no smell at all. Not thinking one day I put a baggy on my head and within 2 minutes I could smell a stink coming from my head! Whew!

It's like any heat elevates the smell. PEW!

Screw the smell...it works!

LOL

I sat under a hairdryer with MTG in my head every night for a month...well...3-5 days out the week. This was back when Vanished came on Fox. My hair grew almost 15 inches that year and I retained 10 of them. This reminds me I need to make myself another growth chart shirt.

Granted, I was taking vitamins like crazy, eating a lot of meat and eggs, on that protein shake bandwagon, drinking chocolate milk, conditioner washing daily, and wearing twists at the time.

The smell was disgusting and similar to burnt bacon but it's worth it for that growth.

I I'm going to try that. I might as well, since I hardly use my MTG.
