i'm gonna scream:look:. I'm in a lecture right now and theres a girl in front of me with hair that is so broken off, it is earlength, but see thru in the bottom half of her hair. She is using a tail comb and i can hear it loudly every time she combs her hair. Its so short it can't even curl it under. The raking is driving me nuts and black people say that their hair don't grow:blush:............. I want to tell her about LHCF STAT.

rant done:grin::grin:

I hope no one is looking at your computer screen. There are some nosy people in college. :look:

Yeah, you should tell her about LHCF in the most nicest way possible.

I had this women I worked with once and I had just found out about LHCF, a year prior to becoming a paid member. Her hair would hurt my eyes.

Finally one day, we struck up a convo. I waited a few weeks. Then I passed her a sticky with this website, Crown and Glory's website, Cathy Howse's book and site, and Carolyn Grey's book and site.

I was nervous and was hoping I did not overstep, but she came over to my office the next day, and could not thank me enough. After that, she always had a "hair" question.

Its hard knowing what to do in that instance. One side of you wants to tell her about LHCF and the other side doesn't want her to think that you think hair 24/7.

Try what LadyEsquire said - strike up a conversation and then . . . just tell her that you were reading on a website that fine tooth combs are not good for hair. If she wants to know more she'll tell you.

Is there anything about her hair that you could compliment her on? Ask her if she got a haircut or if she colored it. Then if you could say yeah I cut my hair ....or colored.... and I didn't like it..... Then maybe you could mention the site.

It took her a few weeks to start. But she would constantly ask questions. I moved out of state shortly thereafter, so I am not sure. But before I left, she was on her first stretch and purchasing silk everything. So I led her to the fountain...

Thanks for the suggestions ladies. I wanted to help her so bad. Theres no hair cut (looks a chemical, sahara desert cut) and no color. I have never seen hair in that bad of shape. Hell, i only use a "tail" comb to make a part. Never to comb:perplexed. And you could hear the dryness with each comb stroke. maybe i'll befriend her since we have a big exam coming up and are forming study groups; hopefully hair will come up eventually,:yep:
