I see a bunch of threads of ladies here who complain about not being able to do their hair, so why not complie a list of how to's all in one thread?
How to put a phony pony, how to do a wash and go, how to self relax, video links, fotkis, anything. It would make it easier on the newbies and the rest of us who just can't do hair.:lachen:

I agree that this is a great idea.
Unfortunately, I have nothing helpful to add.:lachen:

My contributions will lead to hair loss across the board if I ever attempted to make a video of what I do.:nono:

How to do pincurls, which result in tight ringlet-like curls:

Disclaimer: DO NOT EXPECT LOOSE CURLS! These are tight enough to be done once and last a week. If you want looser curls, put it up for a few hours. I have also followed the instructions exactly as stated but only did about 8 pincurls totoal and the curls DID come out loose. If I want really loose, one day pincurls, I just use my fingers. HHG.
 
Does anyone have how to properly press and/or curl the hair with a curling iron (mostly for weaves). I know this might seem simple but knowing me I will end up burning the hair lol.

This is the 2nd method of pincurling I've seen today and I cant wait to try it!
 
i did a wet pincurl tutorial with lots of pictures. it's in my fotki. also made a thread about it but the search feature is not being nice to me right now.

That's the 3rd pincurl method I'll defitnetly be looking into

How many knots did u have? try using less knots next time.
