she doesnt have a bit of frizz or anything she's my hair idol! In ever interview she always says she doesnt like talking about hair and makeup but if my natural hair lookes like that i wouldnt flat iron all the time! I even emailed her a few times about it..needless to say no response what do u think she does?

anyways, i think in the 1st picture, the sides are pinned closer to the center of the hair using bobby pins. and probably the sides are smoothed down with gel.

I agree. When I wear my hair in a braid out it looks just like that. I know...I know...this post is worthless without pictures...when I take my hair out of these twist and finish the resulting braid out I'll post a pic.

I've seen her in a black mag and she said that her hair (at the time was wash and go)

I saw her in person at a concert and spoke to her and up close it definitely looked like a braid out...maybe with a bit of product for some hold.
