Sulfur 8 - Yellow or Blue?

Which type do you use?

Personally I go for the yellow jar. I know my head be stinking to high heaven I put it on my edges/hairline area at night so hopefully it has absorbed by the morning. If not, oh well

LOLWell I don't like the smell because it brings back memories of when my mom used to press my hair with that stuff and that stench never, ever left my hair until it got washed!! Which was also another reason i begged my mom to relax my hair years ago, just so she'd leave that mess alone!

The smell didn't bother me, I actually kinda liked it But I like to have my hair smellin all good and fruity, and NOTHING was covering up that smell! It was also thick as all hell. I would have LOVED this stuff pre-LHCF! I probably woulda put globs on my hair daily right before flatironing, and wondering why my hair didn't grow But now I gotsta have my hair smellin good and being light and airy

Ive tried both but I think I'm sticking with the blue. The smell isnt noticable to me at all overnight.

I use the yellow. I think the blue is a more bastardized version of the yellow.

I use it with my mn mix also but just to be safe, I order scented oils and mix that in there too. So instead of sulfur smell, now I smell like a bag of cookies

I have both but I use the blue one more often. My scalp doesn't feel as "coated" when I use the blue one.

random question. . . have any of ya'll seen/tried the pure sulfur oil? I bought it because I heard ya'll talking about the smell of the normal jar. . . it doesn't stink, but I haven't tried it to see if I get any awesome results.

I just put some on tonight for the first time in about a week. I don't use it when my hair is straightened. The smell is very...soothing. Reminds me of my child hood

Yes absolutely I have noticed results. Sulfur 8 is growing in my hairline and also helping to fill in a small baldspot i found 2 weeks ago.

I don't use BT so can't really tell you. You should do a search, i am sure tons of info will come up. From what I can tell though a lot of the women here that use it are getting great results.

For the MN i don't use that either but it is applied directly to the scalp. There are tons of threads on that too

I have the yellow one but haven't used it on my hair in a long time. I use it on my daughter's hair tho'. I'm going to try it on my left temple thin spot and see if it helps me like it's doing for you Bre Bre.

The yellow is the most potent IMHO. I am very happy I started back using it.

I am blue girl, i think it just means there is less of the 'grease' part. I pretty much think the sulfur content is the same. I also mix mine with mn and a little mango butter and all I smell is the mango goodness.

I have to admit the yellow jar of sulphur 8 they put out these days smells nothing like it did back in the day or maybe it's just my imagination..lol, when I was a little girl my momma swore by that,I just don't think they make it like they used to.But yep,I remember going outside after getting my hairwashed and stinking like that sulphur 8! lmao...good memories though...
