I started taking care of my hair since august of 2007. I came to this site by accident and i was in love with all the information that i obtain by just reading it. My sister and i spent hours and hours just reading page after page because i can't never get bored with this site. I am currently SL and i hope to be APL by July. I just wanted to say thank you to all you ladies who by just posting daily helped me to learn how to take care of my own hair and to stop doing all those bad things that i used to do. I am excited because although i became a member in August, i didnt get the full membership and now that i am able to post i can't stop smiling. I am so happy lol. Before all of this i used to even relax twice a month, use gel all the time, didn't wash my hair as much, didn't moisturize and i thought that my hair would never grow. I got used to the fact that if i wanted long hair i would had to add some tracks to my hair and thats it. After hearing so many myths i was discouraged and i thought i had "bad hair" all of this 16 years of my life. I now know that my hair is not bad and that is beautiful just like any other hair type. I seriously can't wait till the day that i reach WL and that i can prove my mother and other people wrong.
