I got my hair relaxed yesterday...the stylist used Design Essentials...it was washed three times  and followed by a 30 minute deep condition :yep:...he cut off the few colored ends that I left from my BC in Nov...he bumped the ends and sent me on my way...that was my first visit to this salon ...overall it was an okay trip...I like my hair...I don't love it because it doesn't have that so soft "babied" feel to it after I've washed and conditioned it myself...but I do really love the very dark color of my hair...it looks like I got a color treatment.

So this marks a new start to my healthy hair journey...I'm really excited and I can't wait until my first wash without the braids...I don't know what products I'll be using or have a reggie yet...I want to only use homemade things and limit my chemical exposure to just relaxers...I'll see how that goes (and for how long )...I will "attempt" to stretch to 8 weeks and see if I can handle that with this length.
here are the pics...the front is kind of messed up from me playing in it

Man, this hair style takes me back to when my hair was this length/style just a couple of years ago. Your hair looks absolutely beautiful. You MUST MUST MUST play this up with your makeup and sassy earrings, work it!!!!!! This is a beautiful cut and I'll bet you look gorgeous.

very pretty, those ends look healthy, girl! and the shine is incredible. i wish you well in your journey :)

Great hair, try giovanni products, they are organic and are what I use. Good luck
