Why bring it back up now? Obviously you feel the ned to vent, but some might think you're trying to start something. Most people have forgotten about this. Just let it go. Stop worrying about it.

Man I did'nt know the thread took such an ugly turn. Sorry you went through that. The board is usually a really positive place. When I read the thread I knew you were telling the truth because I actually had a co worker say the very same thing.

I'm sorry this happened to you. I think I remember what thread you are talking about, but trust me whether it is true or not, you will begin to realize that soon it won't matter. For every intelligent person out there in real life, there will be two ignorant ones. That is the same for the internet; probably worse since people can say whatever they want and we may never see, meet or know who they are.

It's best to turn all your time and energy to what you came here for...to learn tips about your hair. If you sit and worry about what a whole bunch of strangers think about you, your intentions, and your opinions (not only on the internet, but in real life too) you will be one truly unhappy person.

There's nothing wrong in defending yourself, and it seems like you are truthful. There are madd shady people on the internet, and it's commendable that you pointed out the problem to Machierieamour when a lot of people probably turned a blind eye to it (which is nothing wrong with that either, to each his own). I'm sure she handled it and moved on. I hope you do, too.

Okay, I usually just lurk in here to find information about rollersetting and products, etc. But I had to chime in about this. I didn't post in the thread that you made but I read the entire thing....

Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong but you are obviously missing the point about the REAL reason why you were prime suspect. As I read through all of your posts in that thread, I was thinking to myself "wow, this chick is really defending herself in such an odd way, and she doesn't even realize what these ladies have noticed"

Let me just say this. After someone pointed out that the thread seemed "fishy", I began to read your first post more care carefully and this is what I almost immediately discovered:

YOUR VERY DISTINCTIVE WRITING STYLE

When you posted what was posted on macherie's blog, it looked EXACTLY like the same writing style and grammar errors (sorry to put it like that). But honestly, it was plain as day.

To be more specific about your writing style AND the fact that it matched the writing style of "whomever" posted on macherie's blog:

--Little to no punctuations
--lower case letters
--no upper case letters to begin the first sentence


So, that's what I pinpointed in a nutshell.

Very true, BUT this is my opinion of why I felt that the original poster was suspect. I am entitled to my opinion, and like I said, when someone said that the post seemed "fishy", I like most of the people in that thread began to hunt for some clues if you will. And that's what stood out to me in a big way. Krissynick apparently wrote this new thread because she wanted to know why people were accusing her so I wanted to give my point of view. Then again, my reasoning could just as wrong as the next person's so unless someone/anyone simply admits to it, we'll never know.

I have to agree with the poster who said that this didn't have to be brought up again because we all forgot about it....

i bringing it back up because i just read it and i have the right to do so.... everyone got a chance to say whatever they wanted so i have the right to do the same... im not gonna drag it of course no more than this.. imjust saying my peace... thank you Yall can think watever yall want ppl will always think the worst when they dont know the truth.. Girl, people will make assumptions, accusations and form their own ideas, especially on any message board. I understand the need for giving a final statement after the smoke has cleared but it's whatever.
You're intentions were good but it took a turn for the worse. I didn't continue reading the thread b/c you could predict the outcome.

maybe so but i dont think im doing anything wrong..I just want us to act more mature you know... i did post something about hair.... i thought it was important to understand why ppl feel the way they do and stuff ... i thought i was helping to enlight us... is this what the blog is all about.. IMO sometimes I do get the feeling that you kinda like drama and sometimes create it. Now I could be wrong, but thats just sorta the way you come off with some of your posts.

Personally if I saw something like that written in someones blog I would email the site owner immediately and not try to put it up for public dislplay on a forum knowing it would create a boatload of buzz...but thats jut my $.02

I, too, read your thread. And honestly I never for once suspected you. I actually was in awe that someone was attacking macherieamour but I never even thought twice about it actually being someone on LHCF. I really hate that this happened b/c I hate to see us having ill feelings toward each other. Of course I know stuff happens but I just come here & this is my fix & I basically just want us all to get along. So even though I wasn't one of the accusers, I would like to extend one big - Please find it in your heart to forgive the accusers. It'll make you feel better & not bitter.

IMO that thread enlightened no one and just caused a whole bunch of senseless drama.
