Should this Ramtirth Brahmi Herbal Hair ...

Glad I read this cause I need to use the bottle I have in my special Indian Hair Products Cabinet! My bf is always saying it's my "hair voodoo cabinet"!

The first bottle I had looked like this and I took it back (they were real cool about it too, no questions asked) but from some of the other posts it seems like it was probably just sediment. I now also check the manufactured/exp. date (I'm usually always in a rush). My second Brahmi bottle did not look like this, just all light green.

So... how are you ladies using this in your hair routines...pre poo, sealing...results?

I use mine as a pre poo. I don't think I could take it for sealing.

I received my bottle today and it had the same black line down the side like yours did. I ran hot water over it and shook it really well and it mixed up really well, so now it's a greenish color. It smells ok, so I'm going to go ahead and use it.

ETA: I just received a response to my email asking the seller about the coloring in the bottle and this is what was said "It's a natural product and I think it is part of the herbs inside".

lol you wish. I am cool with Vatika oil and the powders...this?.....something different altogether

Thank God for this thread! I was about to start a new one inquiring about the odd look to this oil...but after reading, I think it's supposed to look like this. Mine was dated 7/2008 and is supposedly good for 5 years, so after looking at this thread I think I'm good! Can't wait to try my funny looking oil!

I too have this same oil and it does look like that when it solidifies. I sat it in some hot water and once it melted it was fine. My hair absolutely loves this oil!!!

I wouldn't have thrown it away.

I have Neelibringadi oil that looks just like this. No one else seems to use this oil, so this thread was helpful.

I think it is , mine looked real funky 2 lol, also the date was when it was made and they say its good for a few yrs, so i would'nt worry about it

I use Neelibhringadi too except mine is in sesame oil based, not coconut, so it doesn't solidify. My Brahmi came looking the same as OP's and I just sat it on top of my Direct TV receiver and it keeps it warm and liquid. This is where my Vatika oil sits too lol. I'll take them off in the summer.

Thanks Eisani, I have yet to use my Neeli oil cause I was so unsure. I think I will try the sesame base next time.

Ok, I'm gathering my oils that are prone to solidify and their new home is on top of the DVD player, at least for now...great idea!
