A homemade relaxer is a pretty risky venture. Even manufactured ones aren't particularly safe. :nono: Please be cautious.

I wouldn't risk trying to formulate my own relaxer...because you're using such basic chemicals, you may end up with a pH higher than you anticipate, which could be detrimental.

I agree with everyone else. Don't Do It!:nono: I would suggest you continue purchasing your relaxers/going to a hairstylist for you relaxers.

Ohhhh please don't try to do this!! You're better off just getting one from the stores or your own hairstylist/salon. I'd rather you still have your hair than none at all. JMO.

The only home made relaxer I know of is the coconut Lime juice one.

Its not permanent but plenty of people have tried it and liked the results.

I do a molasses treatment that relaxes NG I hope this is what you mean...but girl I have to tell you when I saw what your were asking for I was like....OH NO! :couchfire: if you are trying to make a real relaxer at home from chemicals please don't! I've never heard of anyone doing this my entire time on these boards and I can't begin to imagine how such a venture would turn out...girl don't do it!:campfire:
