I'm not a henna pro 
but I do use it (more as a gloss than straight) lol.
Nope it won't stay blonde, I think it would would darken the blonde to a reddish tone. I have a few silvery gray strands and it darkened them to a nice coppery color.

I agree, except you never know what color you may get. Henna gives me a reddish-coppery color and my sister orange. Henna doesn't grow out necessarily and it takes some time to fade, but once you henna that blond it may never be truly blond again.
