Freeda vs. Puritan's Pride Biotin

I wanted to do a poll for this.
There are a lot of threads already on
the subject, but I dunno... maybe I'm slow
or something, but I prefer polls.

For those of you who have used these two
brands, which one do you prefer?

I suggest Walmart Biotin. I know that wasn't one of the choices BUT I ran out of Puritan's Pride Biotin so I went to go grab some generic Walmart brand. I get the Walmart Biotin home and notice that the pills are exactly the same size, shape, etc. as the PP brand. I compare the two bottles and to my surprise the PP and the Walmart brand both had the SAME lot numbers, the same UPC code, same ingredients, same bottle, the ONLY difference was the label. I believe that the PP and Walmart Biotin are one in the same.

That is strange, but makes sense as the manufacturer's produce products for several companies.... I would also like to know what the price difference is...

wow! Is it 5mg? I find it hard to find high dosages in stores vs. online?

Both are good brands. Biotin can be a tricky supplement. For the results regardless of brands alternate. Buy a bottle of Brand X and a bottle of Brand Y. Use all of X and then use all of Y. Repeat

I think Freeda is an excellent company. If I had to choose, I would choose FREEDA.

Dumb question- why are people taking biotin? It can be toxic like vitamin A

I tried PP brand for 6 month and switched to Freeda and never looked back.
I also noticed best results when drinking more water and B-complex.

Freeda is an overall great brand. I take Teir B50 and Biotin 10mg.

I am trying to remember the price, I know that they were fairly inexpensive. I'm thinking between $3 and $5? I got the 5000mcg dosage. This was about 6 months ago, so forgive me if my details are lacking. It's that one brand that Walmart sells, I think it's called Nature's Bounty.

its a hard one. i used both but i m currently back to Puritan Pride i just take two the size is the best!!! smaller than skittles huraaaaaaaaaaah just for that alone hehe but it give u the itchies and u break out if u dont drink water. i just restarted it and i dont drink water as i used too i started breaking out grrrrrr

Biotin is in the *B* family of vitamins which are water soluable(sp?)....NON toxic.

Right now I'm taking PP's Biotin 5mg which is good and their prices are reasonable. They also have excellent sales. But I want to try Freeda's too. I heard they are pretty good. It depends on your pocket.
