I just wanted to know what is everyone's favorite relaxer. I currently use Mazani however I know there are other great relaxers out there. A lot of people seem to use Fabulaxer but I don't know if that is really a good relaxer however, I do know that they use it a lot in the Dominican salons.when it comes to that one..... So what do you use??

I feel like doing the running man with a Profectiv regular kit in my hand!

I LOVE that relaxer. It makes my hair straight and my hair never feels limp and lifeless. My hair never feels weak.

I prefer ORS Aloe shampoo with, though.

I like Mizani Sensitive Scalp.

ETA: Forgot to answer the why...it's mild, yet effective, and doesn't leave my hair limp.

when I was relaxed, Phyto was my relaxer of choice. I liked it because it never burned, didn't leave my hair dry and always had body.

I've tried Mizani, but it didn't last long on my hair for some reason. Through the years, I've always used Optimum or Affirm regular. For the last few years, I've been using Affirm exclusively.

I've been using motions no lye super since i first started relaxing about 3.5yrs now. It's the only relaxer that will not mock my NG it leaves my hair soft. It makes me bone straight so i will opt for something milder like regular this time. I just hope it can handle 2.5'' of NG:yep:

I use Narobi. I have been using it around 4 years. It is the ONLY, and I mean ONLY relaxer that gets my thick hair straight! I will never use another relxer, maybe affirm, but other than that, Narobi all day:grin:

I am a Fabulaxer user. My mother used it in her shop. After she passed away I tried many different relaxers( and stylist:sad: ) , but I always ended up coming back. Fabulaxer always gives me consistent results without a lot of hassles. I like ORS and Silk Elements too, but I  Fabulaxer

Silk Elements mild/regular lye formula, because its the only formula that works for my hair, leaving it soft, shiny and silky.

I last relaxed with Affirm (I *think* she used regular). I liked the results, but my only complaint was that my hair was so super straight for a while after. I will probably ask her to not leave it on so long next time.

I tried Motions a long time ago and it broke all of my hair in the back off and it never grew back in like the rest of it since. I have two friends who also used motions and the same thing happened to them. But I hear it works good for people.

ORS Olive Oil!

MmMmMmM

Leaves my hair so silky and it just works the best
I cheated on it 2ce though , and neither time was fulfilling
so , I am back to my baby LOL

Mizani Butter Blend Normal/Mild Lye Relaxer...Oh so In LOVE with it. No burns or anything and not drying at all. It smells so delicious and wouldn't advise setting it next to a kid ---smells yummy :lick:

I've been itching to try a different relaxer for months now, i remember using revlon a long time ago, it left my hair very coarse and hard, Optimum was another i tried which didn't leave my strands smooth it also didn't take my ng well. Motions always worked well for me. I just wanna try something different that will give me excellent results
ANY SUGGESTIONS LADIES?
Oh i have fine thin 4a hair type

I've been using Dark and Lovely child relaxer. It doesn't burn and I like the way my hair feels. I actually might try another kiddy relaxer or I may try a Mizani relaxer.

I'm trying this next.I would have to say Mizani Rhelaxer is my favorite, but it works too fast.I also love Just For Me kiddie relaxer for coarse hair:yep:
It is really good, but i need something to get it straight and leave it moisturized and bodiful.Just For Me doesn't really get me straight.
I just ordered me some Butter Blend,so i'll see how that works...

after trying a good few relaxers i have to say my favourite is ors no lye regular (i love u baby) the other ones which almost come close are silk elements no lye and soft and beautiful no lye

ORS No Lye and Soft N Free are the only 2 that give me consistent results. I just purchased some ORS Lye and I am a little scared to try it. I may go to the shop and let them put it in. Anybody have success transitioning at home?

I have also tried Gentle Treatment, Elasta QP, Optimum, Motions, and African Pride.

The last time I relaxed (June 2006?) I used Vitale Life and Body and I really liked it. No-lye had dried my hair out for years.

Yeah, that's exactly how it is too... but in like 2 weeks, it thickens up a bit:yep: My hair is so darn thick, I enjoy the thinness while it lasts LOL
