If your talking bout what i think your talking bout (were im from we call them paste downs. They can't not look ghetto in my opinion, no offence...

I actually use my baby hairs and not short broken off pieces of hair(the ghetto way). What ever hair that I think will stick up, I gel down a little. I also make sure the gel isn't all on my face and nasty looking.

Do you mean baby hair? I have baby hair around the edges and it doesn't look ghetto. I kind of twirl it around with my fingers after I've gelled it all back. It wont stay down if I try and slick it back with the rest of my hair so I just leave it.

I can acheive this effect with evoo (extra virgin olive oil) believe it or not? Takes about a month... tie my head at night like I normally do... then after a while I'll notice the baby hairs are thickening and laying very naturally and flat.

I had to stop because the hair started growing on my face:look: ....

how do one's bangs look ghetto?

So......you put EVOO on your hair at night and tie it up. Then after a month it lays down on its own?

I think too much gel makes it ghetto.

Mya does them well.

Tyra & Beyonce try to do it...

I use water and a super soft bristle tooth brush

I remember when my ma would gel my hair line then brush my baby hair straight down towards my face then go back with the brush along the ends and do a wavy motion ~~~~~ all along my hair line... yup pretty ghetto...

my baby hair won't lay down I have little minicoils along my hairline

:lachen:I feel so ghetto now. I totally do mine the ghetto way. I am a little over the top sometimes so I'll take and gel down my edges and do little designs sometimes kinda like J.Lo in her new video where she has her hair up in that bun and all the baby hair. I don't use as much hair as she does though. I guess mine look kinda like Mya and Chilli's baby hair look. I think it's so cute.
