Can someone give me the pronunciation for Shikakai?

I'm trying to explain to a colleague and I think it would help if I knew how to pronounce the product

Shee-Kuh-Kai

Also, I hear alot of people pronounce Vatika with a V. Usually the V is pronounced like a "W" So its "Wah- Tee-Kah"

Good to know

I always wondered if i say Aphogee right because i've never heard anyone else say it.

Is it like

Af-o-g?

Ap-ho-gy (j/k, hope thats not how you say it lol)

Thank you.

Also, it's one thing to click a button and place an order online - no one has to know you really dont know what you're purchasing, but an entirely different thing to stand in front of a person asking for:

Sh(eye)-kay-kay :lachen: :lachen:

Thanks, again

:lachen:Oh my goodness. I just spell it out, or write it down and hand it to them---then ask them "how do you say that anyway?" :look:

You can find out how everything ayurvedic is pronounced by watching Dabur commercials on Youtube.com

Man I was thinking about that this morning and contemplated starting a thread on it. Great minds think alike :wink2:

Hi, ladies!

When I was at the Indian store asking one of the men in there about it, he pronounced it sha-kee-kee.

So I don't know what to call it now! :lachen:

That's what happened to me this evening when the young Indian girl was asking about the powder for me to someone else who worked in the store...

I was standing there like...Oh...that's how you say it...:ohwell:
