I'd like to add it to my conditioners. Instead of extracting the gel from the plant, can I buy it all ready for me? I wonder if blending the aloe vera plant and then straining it would leave bits in my hair still? I plan on getting this really good blender (Vitamix) that might have the potential to get rid of bits.

I have a huge tub of it...pure aloe vera gel...I bought it from Wegmans. So I know you can get it there...if not...send me a PM and I'll send you mine for free. I don't think aloe vera does anything special for my hair.
