They look good so far. I'm toying with the idea of attempting to put some in my head this week. Why are they $4 micros though?

Thanks, there $4.00 micros bc its Kanekalon hair. i cut the pack into thirds and i only use two bags. well not even that much. and the packs are 1.99 each. I didnt plan on putting in braids this year, but me and my hair had a fight and instead of doing the Britney. i put some braids in.:yep:

Thanks, girl im still working on it. but in my defense ive been on and off the computer all day u gals r a hoot. Try i learned how to braid my own hair last Feb. i watched online @ growafrohairlong.com. But before then i did others. But people really want to see in order to believe. So after walking around campus its been my side hustle for a few semesters. :yep:
 
WOW! These braids look great! You did a great job with keeping them even. You are saving yourself SO MUCH money ($100+) with your talent!
 
You hair looks really nice and neat. I braid my own hair too (when my hair is in trouble), and it looks like my hair when I do it too. So, I know it took you a long time; cause to get those parts so perfect takes time and a fine tooth comb...lol.

If you want to resize, you can simply cut them down the middle. Cause you did more emphasis on the parts width wise. And you can cut in the middle to get a perfect box. But, it may be better to just leave it as it is, cause Kanekalon hair gets really tangly. That's why I switched from that to Yaki; which is more cheaper than human hair, but better for your hair than the synthetic hair.

Therefore, when you take your braids out (be sure to touch up your entire hair no less than a month apart to minimize on hair loss; and be sure to keep your hair moisturized (African Pride has a good braid spray).

Your hair looks so nice. Enjoy your hair freedom. What are you gonna do with the ends? I used to put mine in a sponge rollers, and put them in boiling water to make those shirley temple curls. Really cute.

Oh okay. That hair is usually 3 packs for $5 here. You only use 2 packs? Whenever I got braids with the kanekalon it took way more than 2 packs of hair. What do you do with the ends?

sweetladylovely2 girl you know what my fine tooth comb must have grown legs bc i cant find it anywhere and my school is in this small town and the bss has only plastic i had to use a regular comb to part:wallbash:. i never keep braids in longer than a month. but this time i realy want to keep them in longer.

glamazon386 i plan on rockin' a bun and then do a roller set.. with no setting lotion.

Your braids are looking so nice. You are making me want to start braiding my hair tonight. But I don't know if I could do the Ayurvedic Challenge in braids. I learned how to braid my own hair too by watching the groafrohairlong.com. and braidsbybreslin videos. Kanekalon hair is my favorite when it comes to braiding. Looking GOOOD!!!
