What one hair product/tool did you buy in 2007 that you can't believe you
ever did without? Which wins the prize for "BEST PURCHASE OF 2007" ?

For me, the Hot Tools Tourmaline IONIC 1875 Watt Rollaround Salon Dryer for $99 was the highlight purchase of the year. It has saved me from weekly trips to the salon for blowouts and wraps, allowed me to totally eliminate direct heat on my hair, made it ridiculously easy to deep condition and rollerset, dries my hair in 1 1/2 hours or less, and allows me to sit comfortably in a chair and watch tv or play online while my hair dries.

With SO many products and tools out there, it's hard to choose just one but I'd love to hear from you ladies which ones were IT for you? Please include the reason for your choice and the approximate cost if you remember. Who knows, maybe your best of '07 will be my best of '08!!

Thanks!

Tool: ConairPro Bonnet attachment - I love this thing. I attach it to my ion blow dryer and I can nap while I dry my rollersets.

Product: This one is a tie.:look: WEN cleansing conditioners have changed the way I cleanse my hair and I absolutely love 'em. However, Ojon Tawaka cream is the only moisturizer that I have used on my hair that actually moisturizes and its also an excellent face cream. Both these products have changed the way I view my hair.

Okay I have 2:lachen:

RootsOnly applicator bottle (siggy pic) My protective style is a sew-in with net. It's the only applicator that is able to get through my net and clean my scalp effectively.

Africa's Best Ultimate Herbal Oil :drunk::drunk::drunk:...I love this oil so much, I just bought 5 bottles today

Award goes to...my Pibbs.

I am no longer dreading rolling my hair. I used to scrunch under and hold up my tabletop dryer. I would set my digital watch for the time limit. It has a timer/temperature gauge and most of all I am free to surf the internet or watch TV comfortably.

Where did you get it?

1.) Sally's brand ceramic flat iron.

2.) Plug in hot comb

3.) B&B Oil moisture (castor) daily

4.) Frenchee (3 times a week)

Along with once every two weeks wash with Pantene Prov for women of color shampoo and Deep condition with Pantens defense mask, my hair is in excellent shape.

for tools, I'd say the maxiglide

for products, I'd have to go with Giovanni Direct-this stuff is the best leave in EVER! I can't believe I didn't get it until 2007...

I have the same hair dryer too.... My best purchase was QP Elastra creme conditioning shampoo. I love that stuff

Bumble & Bumble Curl Conscious Shampoo and Conditioner (I bought the travel pack with the 2 oz trial sizes in it).

My hair LOVES this stuff. I mean....LOVES it!

The best hair purchase of 2007 is *drum roll*

My LHCF Subscription!!!

That trumps all else, Pibbs, Ionic dryers, Chi, Sedu, MN, Amala Oil, monkey sweat, magnetic rollers that are actually plastic, everything. Most of us (myself included) wouldn't know about any if this stuff had we not been members. I LOVE LHCF.

My PIBBS!!! Hands down its my new favorite toy!! As far as products go, I also love my CHI Silk Infusion and Joico Intense Hydrator and Kenra MC!!

That's funny! I purchased the same salon dryer in late December. I would have to agree that this was my best purchase as well. I got tired of the hooded dryer breaking.

My DC Alopecil Apretendora, the best conditoner my hair has ever came in contact with. It's like oil rinsing, pre pooing, all that good stuff all in one. This stuff is the bomb and I hope it never disappears.

As far as tools my Salaan professional dryer, rollerset done in 25 min. who would have ever known it could be done.
