The relaxer is gone and I’m sooooo happy I went through with it! :love: I didn’t know I would love my twa this much, I cant even take my hands out of it. Its sooooo soft and curly, and it feels really light and airy on my head. This was definitely the best thing I could’ve done for my hair. I swear, I almost started crying at the salon watching that dead relaxed hair fall to the floor. I didn’t realize how much that hair was depressing me! I was constantly stressed out by all those tangles and the dryness that takes its territory when you’re overprocessed….I feel so liberated.

So there’s a few pics…first is my hair right when I left the salon. She put it in a little style for me by rubbing some kindof wave lotion, and curling pieces of hair around her finger. Took her all of 5 mins. I almost kicked myself because when transitioning, it took me 2 hrs to achieve a similar look with the strawset:wallbash:. In the other pics I picked my fro out, and I put a little headband on in one of them. I was surprised at the length for 5-6 months post, I thought my hair grew slower. Another pic is me trying to show that you can still be femme with a twa…hopefully I pulled that off:look:

I like it; you look pretty! It really fits your face. How do you put pics in this section? I know how to do it in my avatar but not in this area...thanks in advance!
 
congrats on the bc it fits you very nicely, did my bc two weeks ago and I felt the way you feel now. enjoy

Thank You! You put them in by "manage attachments" at the bottom. they have to fit the size requirements. :)

Congrats!!!

I BC'd in April 07 and I still cant keep my hands out of my head. It feels so good to be natural :grin:
