Hey ladies,

yesterday I posted that I was using my own products that i'm suppose to be selling lol!

Well I bought a bottle of Crystal de Sabila shampoo and rinse for myself. This shampoo is supposed to be for hair shine. At first I had my negative opinion because it didn't seem like the shampoo did anything different from the other hundreds of shampoos I have used. I washed my hair and followed with the rinse. The rinse did make my hair feel automatically smoother and just nice but I still wasn't impressed.

After I rinsed out the rinse, I then proceeded to use another new product Emergencia leave in spray, it's suppose to be for blow drying and flat ironing.

I sprayed that generously on my hair combed it through (as instructions say) and then proceeded to blow dry. I also added Lotta body Straight leave in cream on my newgrowth (have a lot of it).

I did notice way more shine and hair was soft as usual, but again I wasn't impressed.

Forgot to add I then flat ironed my hair and afterwards applied Alfaparf hair shine. Wrapped my hair tied with a Satin Scarf and to my surprise my hair was amazingly soft like butter this morning like silk with amazing shine.

Conclusion I guess the shampoo and emergencia worked really well!

let me know what you think.

I'm jealous. Gorgeous hair. I feel like slapping you for it.:ohwell:

Where do you get Crystal de Sabila and alfaparf? Are those dominican products?

Do you think it was the combination of ALL the products that contributed to the shine or just the rinse?

Thank you your hair is hot too.

I think it was probably everything mix together but I always use the alfaparf shine and i've been messing around with the lottabody straight leave in also.

I do think the shampoo worked out very well. My hair actually feels like satin, the security at my job even noticed that it came out really nice. I have a lot of hair pictures and use a lot of stuff,

But this is the first day that my hair stayed straight with no frizzies at all no poofing. I am so happy with the results.

Today when I unwrapped my hair I was amazed as well. I have used some good products but from seeing the picture I realize there is not one fly away nothing. And I have flyaways but I guess that combo got rid of them from being visible.

Your hair is gorgeous!:yep:it looks so shiny and healthy.May I have your regimen please?

I dont even have a hair regimen, sometimes I rollerset my hair but yesterday I blew it out and then flat ironed it.

I notice since i'm 5 months no relaxer that with the rollersets my hair is breaking more than with the blowdrying.

I am always switching shampoos and conditioners.

Good blowdrying technique and flat ironing technique.

I try to keep it simple. I blow dry or rollerset then flat iron either the roots or whole head (above is whole head to give a sleeker look).

I will post something on youtube one day to show the way I blow dry and use your flat iron to it's full potential without destroying the hair.

It also doesn't hurt that my Mom was a hair stylist for years, I was always her hair model when I was younger to do her demos to get jobs, and learned how to do hair from her from being at work with her so much, she showed me everything I know now, from self relaxing to styling.

I owe it all to her

Needless to say, this pic is off the chain...do you mind if I blow this up and hang it in my bathroom as motivation?! LOL (J/K) :lachen: Your hair looks fabulous! OMG I can't wait to post some progress pics! :drunk:

Hey Sade,

I don't mind lol!!! And can you believe I am 5months with no relaxer? Remeber simplicity is the key, I wash once a week and I either blowdry or rollerset then flat iron. For maintenance I just wrap every night to keep the hair nice and a bit fresh.

Lovin the hair- !!!
Cant wait till I get your skills. I am afraid to blow dry after my last debacle- can I rollerset then flat iron.

Hey girl,

Yes you can rollerset then flat iron just make sure to use a good leave in, or when flat ironing from a rollerset I use Joico silk results spray for curling and flat ironing. spray that on your roots then flat iron them, after that you roots should be straight, you can flat iron the rest of the hair if you want that sleek look like i have in the picture.

If not your roots will be straight but the rest of the hair will be very fluffy.

I'll post a picture of the rollerset and flat iron of the roots only to show how fluffy the hair is without ironing the full strand.

I really think the toque magico emergencia leave in spray for dry brittle hair really made my blow dry come out good and the flat ironing even more silky and shiny. But it is only good if you blow dry the hair.

I notice not all leave ins and such work good with the rollersetting. one time i used lacio lacio for a blow dry and i didn't like the results, now lacio lacio for the rollersets the results are amazing.

OMG! Your hair is gorgeous! The shine is beautiful and it looks so healthy... down to your ends. :drunk: LOVELY!!!!:drunk:

My ends didn't look like that the last wash lol!!! It must've been what I combined this time around. And I didn't get that much breakage when I brushed my hair this washing either.

Thank you ladies!!!!! your heads of hair are fabolous too! we should start a pretty haired women club :)
