I am sl or apl? I am ot sure

I have been lurking for a while, and I just posted a few days ago because I didn't know that I could use paypal for the charge, but I am wondering if I am sl or apl. Can you tell me if I am shoulder length or apl or some other length that I am not familiar with, just yet?

If you're trying to obtain length then you don't need to trim. You're hair and ends look healthy to me .

I agree! You have a V shape and a lot of ladies have that...its actually very nice looking! Dont even it up, just let it grow and take care of your ends so they dont split!

ETA I think its APL. My hair is layered too and its shorter in the front, but I go by my longest layer because thats how it always grows no matter what. If I wanted a blunt cut Id have to cut it to my ears!

I'm actually facing the same dilema as you. My longest layer is APL too and the rest is shoulder lenght. If I were you I wouldn't cut anyting off. Embrace the unevenness....

I would say you are APL, don't trim it just allow the rest to grow on its own.. Your hair is beautiful by the way...

I'm going to go ahead and say that you're APL! The rest of your layers will catch up, but for the most part, you can claim it!
