The day before Christmas, I applied my own no-lye relax.

I completed this process without any breakage.

When it was time to rinse the relaxer out, the water pressure went low:nervous2:.

So.........I tried scrubbing:bath2: that mess out til' I couldn't stand it any more.

Here it is 3 days later AND

:burning: MY SCALP STILL BURNS in the CENTER OF MY HEAD!:burning:

Does This Means I Still Have Relaxer Left On My Scalp?:pullhair:

Girl you are cracking me up with this title.

:lachen::lachen::lachen:

I think youre going to need a really good protein treatment dear. In the mean time do you have anything with aloe vera in it? That will probally help.

If that dont work try doing a one foot spin and grabbing your crotch..

Either that, or you just have a really bad scalp burn. Either way, I'll wash my hair immediately with neutralizing poo. If that perm is still in your hair, it is still processing. This happened to my SO's mother and it left her with no hair at the nape. Not a pretty site :nono:.

:burning: If you don't HURRY UP and wash your hair again! Did you use enough neutralizer? You shouldn't be on the computer, you should be at the sink!

Don't come back on this forum in 30 days or so with a thread wondering why you have a bald spot growing in your crown..

I used that whole bottle of neutralizing shampoo.

But I guess it didn't do anygood cause the water pressure was so low.

Did someone mention aloe vera? Cause I have a bottle of that on deck now.

I need to be at the sink like right now!!!!!

You have a great sense of humor. I don't think I could be so comical at a time like this. You better moon walk to the sink and then drop it like its hot!

in your post i noticed you said you scrubbed your hair. if you did this with ur finger nails its not suprising that your hair is still burning... the relaxer probably went into your scalp and its not suppose to .... u gotta make sure u got good water pressure or have some bottles of water on hand to help you rinse out...

Awww sorry Chavas. Is everything ok now? Keep us posted and no more Michael Jackson dances for you. You have too much progress and beautiful hair...can't have you screaming He-He:grin:

That usually means you left relaxer on your head. I would rinse my hair with a neautralizing poo IMMEDIATELY! When I was 12, I got a new beautician that wasn't familiar with my thick hair. She gave me a touch up, and unfortunately left some in the back. I felt my hair burning in the back even after the relaxer was supposedly rinsed out or about a day, but I was so docile then, that I didn't speak up. My hair slowly begin to break in the subsequent months. After about two months, I had only an inch of hair in the back.

Moral of the story: GET SOME NEAUTRALIZING POO ASAP!!!

do you think it might be the MN mix? your growth is ridiculous....do you wait a few days from your last application of the MN mix to do your touch-up? I found out the hard way :eek2::burning:that I had to wait a good 2 weeks from my last application of sulfur8 before I even think about doing a touch up. I'm trying really hard not to jump on this bandwagon- or maybe it's the embarrassment:lachen: of actually purchasing the MN

Thank God Ladies,

It stopped burning. I went to the sink to wash my hair immedatley with neutralizing shampoo.

Thanks ladies!

I know it wasn't MN because I stopped using it about 3 weeks before I did a relaxer.

I Feel Fine now!

!!!!!!!!NO MORE MICHEAL JACKSON MOVES FOR ME!!!!!!:lachen:

Glad it stopped burning but for future references never scrub to get the relaxer out. This seems like it's is only making it sink into the scalp. It's not doing anything to help get the relaxer out.
