I tried Kenra YEARS ago when my hair was so badly damaged that only scissors could fix. :eek2:I didn't like it and I tossed it in the trash. From then on I gave Kenra the cold shoulder. :cold:

I ignored all the raves about it on the board :lala:......Even after my homies gave it the stamp of approval (Hey Artemis, Letitia, and MissMadaam)

Even the hair science guru herself, Sistaslick, said it was the business and still I stayed away.

So today while in trade secrets, I see these big silver liter bottles of Kenra shampoo and conditioner. I stop to take a look and there was only 1 moisture set left. I decided to go ahead and get it. The price was right and if I didn't like it, there would be people here who would take it off my hands.

I didn't want to wait to next week to try it so I went ahead and washed my hair with it today. I only had to use a tiny bit of the shampoo. It had a nice scent and felt really good in my hands. Upon rinsing, my hair felt soft and smooth. I then rubbed in the conditioner. I didn't use much because from the reviews here, they are concentrated. I slapped on a plastic cap and went about my business........Fastforward to rinsing, I rinsed it out combed in a little leave in and flat wrapped. I sat under the dryer and combed out the wrap. I could feel how soft my hair felt in my hands and when I looked in the mirror :woot::cool2: I love this stuff!! My hair feels moisturized and is not weighed down at all. I don't know why I have been so hard headed:wallbash:
I should have bought this stuff sooner. I am looking forward to trying some other things out of their line now.

So Kenra heads, I formally apologize for talkin crap about your beloved :grouphug:....................We cool right?:look:

gym, you are a trip. Your whole post got me cracking up.:lachen:So does this mean that you're gonna step out on your beloved Pantene with Kenra???:blush:

Okay, so I am not the only one. I am glad that I bought the liter sizes.

Oh Lawd! Why did I have to read this thread?

I have a bottle of Kenra conditioner under the sink that I just got last week.

I am pre-conditioning as I type. I was going to use the Pantene Mask, but now I'm reconsidering! If I use it, I will report back with my findings!

This is sooo coincindental! I just went in trade secrets and got some Kenra MC today! I was excited to use it before but gym you've really got me excited now. :yep:

Last month I ordered a 10.1oz size of the moisterizing shampoo and the conditioner online at sleekhair.com and used it. I couldn't believe how soft and delicious:lick: it made my hair feel. I loved it so much, I made it a staple in that moment and came back to my computer and ordered the litre size bottle of the kenra moisterizing conditioner - can't risk:nono: running out of it you know - lol.

Why didn't you like it when you brought it the first time? I haven't tried it beacuse I've ran out and brought things that people swore by that didn't work for me. :nono:

Ooh, ooh, good idea HT. I also like the pantene r/n mask. Since I have both, I'll try this next - I know it will turn out great.

Umm where can I buy this stuff like today? I been hearing way to much about Kenra. I won't be all hard headed like Gymfreak:look:.......I'm due for a new type of conditioner.

if you have a trade secret around you
you'll be able to find it there.

i'm sure there are places online people can tell you about, too...
(but i dont order online much...so i dont know)

<3

I felt the same way about the Joico line. I just didn't know at the time how to use the product and which formula would benefit me the most.

Kenra MC and the intensive con (discontinued) are staples. I may have to try the shampoo again.

I think I didn't like because I felt like it didn't do anything. The thing is at that time, I was still using a handheld dryer and grease to blow dry my hair after every wash. I was still relaxing too often and I didn't moisturize my hair. I don't think I thought anything was good then. Once I had a much needed meeting with some scissors and a attitude adjustment, things that I once thought were crap started to work for me.
