I just noticed your growth from October to November. It's time for you to start spilling your guts. What did you do? What is your regimen? Don't make me come over there!

Wow. I was so shocked to actually be called out. Thanks ladies, this made my day. :)

I made some slight changes to my regime and even more since those photos.

I now cowash everyother day, even though i'm relaxed.
cornrow the back of my hair and wear a fall as protective style.
Scalp massage is the truth! Twice a day. I've noticed some growth. :yep:

Now still doing the above but added amla and shikakai rinse twice a week.

2nd huge thing for me - only taking out my cornows once a month now. cowashing in cornrows = less manipulation, more growth.

Update pics Mid January.

Very nice! Great progress.

I just decided this morning that I'm going to co-wash every other day and see how my hair likes the results.

I need a new fall though.....

That's some AMAZING growth!!!

I've also decided to co wash every other day and I'm incorporating falls in my protective styling.

Secretrose, how do you style the front of your hair (the part that's not covered by the fall) after you co wash?

How do you keep the cornrows from frizzing up. I am only able to keep them in 2 weeks at a time.:look:

I actually rollerset it. It's such a small section that it only takes about 5 mins to do, 6 rollers in total. I airdry overnight. If I don't have much time, I get under the dryer for about 30mins. It really is not time consuming at all.

hehe - check my second progress pic. Those are the rollers i sleep in.

What kind of fall are you wearing, what does it look like?

I wish I could cornrow...:ohwell:

Girl, let me tell YOU! I could write a book on my fraustration with falls. I have bought every single type. Human and Synthetic, different brands, ect. My conclusion - if you find a synthetic one thats a good match, stick to it. The human hair ones are garbage! I just bought one from Paula Young (supposedly high end) last week, it tangled in a few hours. :wallbash:

But my problem is I like to style my hair and the synthetic ones don't allow that. So here is what I did now.........

I made my own half wig  and it's TANGLE FREE!

I planned on starting a thread later on in the week with step by step pics but i just had to get it out. I love the way it looks and best of all no matting in the back. Just straight and flowing. Looks like a weave.

Check back in the week when i get my pics together.:yep:

Amazing growth. Those falls are a great way to let your hair relax and at the same time, you can do all of your treatments and such :yep:.
