I am a natural and I love this product....My ends and straight due to the technique that I use to straighten (chasing the flat iron with my comb)..I wouldnt neccessarily say its the serum that keeps my ends straight..Its some good stuff :)

I use this technique too. My ends get straight but my hair starts to feel dry after a while...I gotta try the chi

Whats the difference between the Chi Silk Infusion Reconstructing Complex and the Chi Silk Fusion Hair & Skin Serum???

All I see on eBay is the Chi Silk Fusion Hair & Skin Serum... does it work just as well as the Reconstructing Complex? By the way, I'm just looking for something to blowdry my hair with...

I don't know but make sure you get the real one. I never heard og chi silk infusions hair and skin.

I'm a chi silk infusion fan. I mix a little with castor oil and run through my hair before a rollerset and it really does my hair justice. Keeper!

Dang, I must get some of this. I know for a fact CHI's Keratin Mist leave-in is good, fo' sho! . Just wondering though, have any naturals blowdried their hair while using this? I want to do a huge blown out afro, but I don't want my hair to get too straight...
Same here. I'm going to just go on and buy the CHI Silk Fusion Silk Reconstructing Complex and try it tomorrow after I wash, condition, and blowdry my hair. I'll post in this thread about my results with the Chi Silk Fusion. Right now, I've been using Infusium 23 and BB Oil which has done great, but I wonder how much greater this Chi stuff is. :)

I picked up some today. I plan to use it when i take out my plaits. If this stuff gets all my 4 a/b newgrowth in check. At almost 6 being months post. I will fly back up to trade secert and get the big bottle.

I bought some last night at CVS (I was looking for the Zip It ) and of course wandered into the hair aisle

My hair feels silky, cut a little coated. I think I may have been a bit heavy handed with it. My hair is definitely shinier than usual after flat-ironing.

This is definitely a keeper, even though I hate the cologne-y smell.

Okay, I blowdried my hair with the CHi Silk Fusion Silk Reconstructuring Complex, and it did an awesome job detangling my ends and it took a shorter time blowdrying my hair. However, my hair didn't feel as soft as when I blowdried my hair in the past. All the cones in this product made my hair feel weird...it felt silky but coney/coated... it was really weird.

How much did u use, PB? I dont really get that when I rollerset with it, but I havent tried blow drying. That coating some ppl speak of....I wonder if its actually a good thing bc it is kind of repairing/mending the hair and sounds kind of like its a protective layer to prevent damage. Or maybe thats just wishful thinking :lachen:

Well I broke down and bought it this past weekend at Ulta. I got the Chi Silk Infusion and the Chi Shine Spray. I love them! I really waited on this purchase, cause I did not believe the hype. But I used a dime sized amount after deep con on wet hair, then used the blow dryer, then I used a dime sized amount on dry hair before using the MG. Let me tell you, my hair has never been this silky or shiny before.

So whatever it does, it works! My hair does not feel coated at all. I used the tiniest amount. Put a little more in today on the ends only...no problem, just shaky shiny hair. Oh and the spray is great too, it's not drying, like I first suspected it might be. Nope, it works.

I will one day by the larger bottle for $19.99 but I think this tiny bottle is going to last me for a long while.

Since I tried the 2 oz bottle and loved it...I went ahead and ordered a 12oz bottle last night  hopefully that will last me all of next year.

I used about a pea size amount on each section I blowdried.

Last night after blowdrying, I braided my hair. This morning I unraveled my hair and it feels much softer now. ;)
