When you all speak of moisturizer, how do you all do it? I have not done this or at least I don't think I have. Can someone let me know the methods or steps that you take to do this?

Thanks.

Bumpin' for responses . . . I'm eager to know what others are doing. I put on my moisturizer from root to ends all over my head (right now my favorite is shea butter) and then follow up with the sealant (my favorite sealants are Natural Oasis oil or jojoba oil right now - I'm a PJ so my favorites are constantly changing). I use olive oil as a sealant when my hair is really, really dry-looking.

I think most people are using some type of water based moisturizer all over and concentrating on the ends.....and then going over that with some type of oil to seal in the moisture....

I am currently just using Organics by Africas Best Shea Butter and Tea Tree Oil moisturizer....I just rub it in twice a day...I put a little more on my ends...

I use a water based moisturizer (like BB Growth lotion, Garnier Sleek & Shine). I rub the mositurizer in between my hands and massage in my hair for 1-2 minutes. Then, I seal with an oil. I like SweetCashew's avocado oil. It leaves my hair really soft. :yep:

I recently found a very delightful water based moisturizer with raw shea butter, silk proteins, panthenol, soy milk and sweet almond protein to name a few of the ingredients its all natural (by Nubian Heritage) and it doesn't weigh down my fine hair and then I seal with a tiny amount of jojoba oil. I have been doing it at night and in the morning my hair has been nice and soft and I usually have dry hair:drunk:

I use Giovanni direct leave in conditioner throughout my hair and seal my ends with coconut oil
