It's Not Even My Pibbs....Yet....

but I felt like I was about to jump a chick in the BSS a little while ago...

I've been eyeing this Pibbs 512 floor model for a minute....

I headed for the neighborhood BSS to pick up something...and as soon as I entered the door... I saw this "chick"....yeah, that's what we'll call her...with her paws on my dryer! She dared to even ask what the cost was!:dollar:

I saw one of the workers eyeing me from the other part of the store as I was standing near the front , steadily keeping my eagle eye on her talking to the other store worker while I was on my cell phone...I kept the other ear honed in on what they were saying....

as soon as I heard her say she couldn't afford it right now (as I looked at her two kids)...I released a heaving sigh of relief...

the worker tried to direct her to a Gold N' Hot, but she wasn't having that. She was like nobody buys those anymore..

After I made my purchase...and was headed out the door...assessing what I had just seen take place...

I said to the worker..."How you gonna try and sell my dryer to somebody?!"

He said, "Which one?"

I pointed and was like that one right there - I told him I don't want to pay for it ...I'm looking for holiday money to cover it...

For some reason, I asked...could I put something down on it to hold it....and he was like "Yes."



*Mo will be making a payment to hold it tomorrow*

Thank you for letting me share my moment regarding my soon to be Pibbs ..(nobody betta not roll up in that bss looking at my dryer until I get there after work ...)

That is wonderful that he is going to let you put money down on it and make payments and this will be more of a motivator for you because, you know its that much closer to being yours.

I swear I didn't understand the feeling that came over me...it's like I just took it for granted that it would be there until I was ready to buy it...but when I saw somebody contemplating taking my baby from me...

I got warm in the neck area real fast....

I didn't even know that poor girl...she had done nothing to me...and I wanted to smack her!

lol....well Ive been shacking up with his brother for a month or so now and we are still in the honeymoon phase. Im still excited every time I open the door and see his face. He is just what Ive always wanted and really caters to my needs.

I'm under the dryer now after a rushed rollerset - I gots company..

Addendum: It was the last 512 at this location, it was a floor model.

If you don't feel like waiting for an order, you should look around at bss in your area or a neighboring area and find out if they have hooded dryers in stock.

Um...Sen...I should've clarified....I had 6 ft. plus company waiting for me...I was just trying to get my hair dried enough to get the rollers out...

so unfortunately, no, I had no time to take any crappy cameraphone pics - but I was happy with my first half-sloppy rollerset, I have to practice the tension a little bit more at the roots, but it came out pretty good. I was pleased with myself, the years of watching others do it paid off a little bit today.

Definitely a difference in the way your hair comes out from the tabletop to me and dries a hellz of a lot quicker IMO.

@ hair cuz Sareca....girl, I made sure I picked it up for the bulk of folk around the way got up..I was good..

ot: the conditioning on dry hair with heat..*thumbs up*
