My hair is getting dry since "Homeboy" started coming around :lachen: So, I need to step up my moisture. I was thinking of purchasing Kenra MC, Joico moisture recovery or Mizani moisturfuse. The problem is I can't make up my mind :wallbash:
Anyone else having this dilemma?

my hair hates winter. extreme heat and coldness are not my hair's friend. it gets very dry and sheds horrible in the winter.

i was trying to use cholestrol every week to help with the dryness and shedding but i think it made my hair too porous so now its tangling badly even when its braided up. :nono:

i was planning on getting something to help with porosity and the shedding but haven't had any luck locating the products. garlic shampoo seems to be a foreign concept here. :ohwell:

I was just commenting this morning on how dry my hair is, and I just DC'ed two days ago. Im gonna step up my co washes and be more consistent with sealing, and see how that helps.

same here! DRY DRY DRY!

I have to moisturize and seal with oil EVERY night, unlike during other months when I can get away with every other day or so.

Qhemet Biologics always gets me through the day, though! :)

yeah winter is no fun on the hair.
i've been moisturizing 2-3 times a day
just to make sure my hair is staying hydrated

Doing more frequent con-poos,oil poos then layering leave-ins then Surge Lotion Motion 9 {still on some store shelves}, followed by BB castor creme then Keo-Karpin. The oils feel great and I'm hoping the addition of a silk scarf sometimes with a hat is protecting my hair. The snapping of my nape requires the same scarf as a shoulder covering during the day even though my hair is always up.

I agree with every thing all OPs have stated but I feel like a broken record...invest in a humidifyer, it'll do a world of good. That's all.:yep:

Keep your hair covered when you are outside and make sure to put a silk scarf on your hair first before you cover with a hat.

I am going through the same thing. I'm actually about to buy Kenra MC today. Sistaslick recommended it. I kinda agve up on finding a good moisturizing conditioner and I just relied on moisturizing daily to keep moisture in my hair. but now I relaize that it's not enough. I'll see how it goes when I DC with it today.

That's when it finally hit me. I brought a bottle of moisturfuse yesterday and will try it today. I need to figure something out for real :yep:
