:yep:Yes, I am sure it was gymfreak. She has been pimping that mask out all over the Board. :nono:

I love it, too!!!!

Kels, me and the mask went through this a couple of weeks ago. I clarified and left it alone for about 4 washes. I used mostly ors replenishing during that time. Then I picked back up with it without a problem.

Seriously though, I have been a faithful Pantene user since the very early 80's (...my mom was a Pantene fanatic back when you could only buy it in 'finer department stores') and it has never lead me astray:yep:

Have you tried DCing with it with a little castor and/oil olive oil mixed in? HEAVEN!

Girl, you are going to have the store shelves empty of this product.

Good thing I'm still loving my Aveda. :yep:

They already are. They were on sale last week and these lurking heffas bought up all of them. I went to 2 Targets looking for them. Thankfully I got a rain check for the sale price up until January. Q

Girl it had to be. Any other time, the shelves would be stocked with it. Then boom it goes on sale and I can't find any?!!! There ain't too many of us here either. The shampoo and regular conditioner was on sale but it was plenty of those left. See they need to go ahead and join so we can have a meet up!!! Come on out, don't be shame!!! Q

OT: Hey you are new :welcome: Q

I have this in my closet:grin: Its a darn shame.....I haven't even opened it. But it'll be opened this Sunday (LOL)

Yall don't know how mad I was. I had my little basket along with my coupons so I was ready to save some money big time. At first I thought it was just a co winky dink until I went to another and saw they were gone there too. Then I remember you don't have to be a member or pay to read this board. So I figured the culprits are lurking. That's alright cuz I got 9 rain checks for it. Q

Sodium Hydroxide.... Isn't that like the chemical in like a relaxer or something?

Sodium hydroxide (NaOH), also known as lye, caustic soda and sodium hydrate, is a caustic metallic base. Caustic soda forms a strong alkaline solution when dissolved in a solvent such as water. It is used in many industries, mostly as a strong chemical base in the manufacture of pulp and paper, textiles, drinking water, soaps and detergents and as a drain cleaner. Worldwide production in 1998 was around 45 million tonnes. Sodium hydroxide is the most used base in chemical laboratories.

Pure sodium hydroxide is a white solid; available in pellets, flakes, granules and as a 50% saturated solution. It is deliquescent and readily absorbs carbon dioxide from the air, so it should be stored in an airtight container. It is very soluble in water with liberation of heat. It also dissolves in ethanol and methanol, though it exhibits lower solubility in these solvents than potassium hydroxide. It is insoluble in ether and other non-polar solvents. A sodium hydroxide solution will leave a yellow stain on fabric and paper.

I went to Wal-mart today and all of the masks were gone :(.

They only had a couple of the Breakage Defense Shampoo/Conditioners left.

When MonaLisa signs, I KNOW it has to be awesome.

Yup! That would be it! The good sh**!!!!:yep:

It's in CON, NTM and our beloved Pantene Breakage Defense Mask!!!
Yippee!

And the amount is not culpable enough to do damage like applying a relaxer to your head would. If you look on most tootpaste ingredients, you will also find Sodium Hydroxide right there also.

:yep:
