give me some tips on what to buy????? Im so excited.......Mind you I am not going to spend a fortune so can you give be some price also TIA!

It depends on how much the specific store wants to mark it up, girl! :)

Anyway, I would say buy these things:
1)Henna (see if they have Reshma brand or if its anything else make sure its body of art) I paid 3 or 4 bucks for a box that will get me several treatments.

2) Dabur Alma oil --warning this stuff stinks but it works wonders as a prepoo. Costs about 2 or 3 bucks.

3) Vatika enriched coconut oil and if they dont have that get plain parachute coconut oil. The vatika is in a mint green colored plastic bottle...parachute is in a bllue bottle. I think it was 3 bucks.

4) Shikakai powder. Its supposed to encourage hair growth and I think its working! You can make a rinse to use in place of shampoo or as a rinse before conditioning with it. I think it was 3 bucks.

That should get u off to a good start. At least get 1 and 2 or 1,2, and 3. I think those are must haves in my book. HTH!

Leslie

can Shakaika be used with braids? I have the other stuff except for Henna and Shakaika.

Not Leslie but Shakakai can be used while in braids. What i do is put it in the coffee pot strainer along with a few of my other herbs and make an herbal tea out of it. I then put it in the fridge. The next morning after showering, I rinse my hair with it. Then i apply my leave-in and go.
