I use nexxus humectin. Looked for humectress three months ago in London Uk, as I love it, but only saw humectin. Have used humectress for years, but the pj in me is always open to suggestions . Have they changed humectress to humectin?:perplexed

I used it as a DC and as a leavin. It is my new love.( :iloveyou: Humectress)

It makes my hair so silky and moisturized.

I have a liter jug with the pump that I got at Sam's Club. I like to add glycerin and honey to it for a special treat :yep:. Humectress is in my deep conditioner rotation.

I have never heard of humectin, so I am not sure.

I have been using it for YEARS (see how old I am in my siggy's countdown )

Anyhoo...
It is NOT a DC, however you can use it that way (with heating cap or under a dryer).

However, do not depend on Humectress to deliver the deep conditioning benefits that you would receive from products like ORS Replenishing Pak, for example.

It is a moisturizing conditioner that is very effective for many. I use it before and after henna/indigo treatments and include it in my regimen to keep my hair hydrated.

Oh my Sam's Club carries this stuff. I just started using, so I will start buying there. What other deep conditioner do you use when rotating.

My three personal favorites are Humectress, Motions Moisture Plus (I buy it in the tub I use so much) and Emergencia which is a Dominican conditioner. HTH

Thanks. I also use motions moisture plus in the tub, I just love it and the smell is so lovely.:yep:

I love Humectress!!!!!!!!! I use it in all the conditioning ways possible, regular, deep conditioner, and leave-in. But, when I don't use it as a deep conditioner I use Hair mayo by Africa's best.

It look like the difference is that the humectin is a phyto organics line

Also, from what I have read here on LHCF is that Humectin has a great deal of protein in it. So if you want more moisture than protein, choose Humectress :yep:.

I have a huge bottle of Humectin and it's fine (love the smell), but I like Humectress more.

I've used Humectress for many years and Humectin for several months now. Both contain protein. Humectress did alter their formula when they went commercial and Nexxus introduced Humectin in their Phyto Organics line.

I love Humectin Extreme Moisturizer and the main difference is the addition of more natural ingredients as well as Quinoa protien and it does seem much more moisturizing than the current Humectress.

I dont know if my hair would like it if it was any more moisturized than the Humectress leaves it. The Humectress leave it super soft and silky. :yep:

I use it as a deep conditioner and a daily hairdress. It softens the hair from any holding product crunch ie:gel, buttercreme etc.

ITA Humectin seems more moisturizing to my hair than Humectress- but both are great! I love using them as a daily moisturizer too.

hi you can get humectress and loads of other products from hair & beauty shops in peckham SE15. Hope that helps.

Love love love...humectress...anything else that I use doesn't seem to measure up...To me humectin is just as good!

Do you used this conditioner to deep condition or another product.

i use humectress as a regular post-shampoo conditioner.
to deep condition, i use Cream of Nature in the purple bottle w/ honey.

humectress has protein (although not a lot), and leaving it on for too long makes my hair snappy.
