My hair does. It just seem to be better for me in the winter then in the summer. I know many people here say they get crazy growth in the summer but naw, not me.

Actually I hear the same thing. I don't really experience that either and I'm not sure why.

I wonder if it's more that people are washing/rinsing/condition washing their hair more during the summer due to the heat, and that they usually slow down with that during the winter to prevent getting a cold, etc. ...not sure.

So, what do you do during the winter that makes your hair flourish more then instead of in the summer?

To be honest. I do the same thing. I remember last winter I just started on here and yet my reg hasn't really varied that much and yet I noticed that last winter and now into fall my hair just seems to be loving the whether as far as softness and growth. I really don't know. I guess everyone has there seasons.

So is your hair the same way year round for you or does it have it's moments at certain times of the year?

I think that my hair generally grows better during the winter. I might just feel that way because I usually cut my hair off in the summer and it's grown back by the end of winter.

Not me:nono: I don't remember what it did before because I've been way more observant of my hair's personality this year but my absolute halt of growth last winter is what led me to the board. I plan to get past that hurdle this year by regular scalp massages w/stimulating oils and more frequent washings. I also want to reduce my low heat regimen to only dc's for the next few months. I'm doing this by going into twist extensions.
