Well, I have been in braids for about a year. I decided I would lay off braids for a few months so that I may tend to my hair better.

I think I may buy a wig, but I don't want one that's too silky. I would like a more yaki, kinky type straight wig.

Preferbly online sites if you know of any you have had good experiences with please share. Thanks in advance.

hairsisters is widely known. But some local BSS have great selections, and a little vingear water will take that 'shine' right off! :yep:

I would suggest going to the BSS to get one, that way, you can try it on to make sure it looks nice on you.

I don't know how much you planned on spending for one but I'm wearing a Beverly Johnson Human Hair wig, it's Yaky (no krinkles) and even has a natural scalp in the top. It is "open" so I can feel my natural hair through the tracks. It retails for $139 but I got it from a local BSS for $80+tax. I've washed it, rollerset it, washed it angain and wore it straight. I love it.

Sorry this is the only pic I had of it (No, I wasn't :hippie:)

I work at the hair store and my favorite wig is Outre Valerie It is shiny at first but the older it gets the more real it looks. like really. its straight wrap look. Outre is a very good brand espically the expensiver ones they loook sooo natural
