Fantasia Gel with Sparkle Lites--Clumps?

I have a jar of this but just can't use it because there seem to be little clumpy-lumps all throughout the gel. Is this normal? If so, how do you use it with that in there? Do they melt or dissolve? How? Is my tub bad?

Maybe yours is bad because I don't have clumps in mine. Only thing you sould see is some air bubbles.

The gel should not contain lumps in it. Did you get it from a BSS? If so, you have to be careful about what you buy from there because sometimes the stuff is old. My advice is to throw that out and buy a new jar. HTH

I agree, at the most, you should only see air bubbles.

Those are the sparkelite things. I only really see them if I mix the gel with a product that it doesn't mix well with. Some conditioners will cling to the clumps and then you'll have white gummy crap all through your hair.

Re the bolded: I used this in my wash and go and DH said it looked like I had tiny boogers all up in my hair. He makes me sick!!

ohhhh.... your talking about lumps on your hair??? not in the bottle?

oh wells. i hope it works out for you. this gel did nothing for me. in fact it make my normally shiny hair dull if thats even possible lol.

I thought you meant in the jar too. I've mixed it with oil or S-curl with my WNG polytails, but never had the lumps in my hair. I hope it works out for you

I use it regularly and have gone through jars and jars, never had any clumps.

It probably is a bad jar. I'd just get a new one. I go through tubs of it myself.

Eww...I have this same problem with brand new jars of Fantasia Gel - when I mix it with the wrong product. It's so weird, the gel will work with my Kids Organics leave-in, but will clump immediately with Profectiv Break-free.

I never found a way to get rid of the clumps aside from dunking my head under running water. Trying to shake them out only makes them smaller and more like dandruff.

Run, don't walk, to the sink or shower and wash, then start over.

I just bought the fantasia clear gel with the sparkle lites in the tube. Has anyone used this? What is it supposed to smell like because it smells like tar and it hurts my stomach
