I'm pretty sure alot of you already know the results of this stuff. But this is my first time using it and I have to tell you....I'm in love with my hair all over again. I did research on this product before I bought it. And all I saw was "soft and shiney, soft and shiney". I can't believe how soft and smooth my hair feels. My Dh was even like, "your hair has never look that way before has it". He couldn't keep his hands out of it. My hair is sooo detangled, moisturized, bouncey, and soft and everything you could want a product to do. Did I forget to mention it smells so good. This definately will be one of my staples since I like to use the flat iron. My hair is as "Soft as butter and sleek as satin"; In the words of the Tawny Scrawny Lion(Do yall remember that book lol).

Dammitt! Now that's too many threads that I've counted about this Chi Infusion stuff. I already got some on my Ebay Watch List right now. I told myself i wasnt buying anything else! It looked too costly for my frugal butt to buy off the shelf.

For those who did buy the Chi infusion online, any worries or concerns about it being an UNSEALED product? I did find a couple that were sealed. I just wouldnt want someone diluting it or putting something else in the bottle to sell to me.

see I got bid happy and won 2 12 oz bottles on ebay:wallbash:. I guess I wll be good for a while. They both say they sealed so I hope that is what I get.:perplexed

MSG told you, like Dog fur its lovely. I couldn't protective style after I got it. The weather here is getting nasty so maybe I can stop with the Maxi/Chi combo:grin:

I LOVE Chi Silk Infusion, its the ONLY thing ive been using for months now for flat ironing! It last FOREVER too, i have a big bottle and a tiny one and im not even sure itll be used up by the expiry in 2009,, One thing I find weird about it is how it seems to coat the flat iron, i find i have to keep cleaning the browned silk infusion off of it,,, anyone else have this??

Love it....just got a tiny bottle recently...I am gonna get a big bottle and try to make it last me for all of next year..

MizzB, if you don't want to order it online, you can purchase it at Walgreens. If you don't like it, you can return it.

I did research on this product before I bought it. And all I saw was "soft and shiny, soft and shiny". I can't believe how soft and smooth my hair feels. My Dh was even like, "your hair has never look that way before has it". He couldn't keep his hands out of it. Also, how are you using your CHI Silk Infusion? Are you blowdrying your hair with it? Or are you applying it to dry hair before flat-ironing?

Can you use this instead of setting lotion if you are doing a roller set? Or, would it be better to get the CHI 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray?

i have been loving this stuff for yeeeeaaaarrrrssss!!!! LOVE it.
i stumbled on it many years ago and was wowed at how soft, sleek, shiney, pretty my hair was! i was amazed!

Is it really that good? What does it compares to? How is it different from any other serum?

It is a good product, but I do thnk it is too pricey. I mix mine in my hand with Fantasia IC Straigtening serum. Same result but it last longer. Besides, when i tried it alone, I did not care for it as much.

Im glad you love it, cause I know I do. I got it for free when I got my CHI on sale, and I know of everything I have in my PJ Arsenal... the CHI silk infusion is the one thing I know is totally worth the $15.99 plus tax to replace (yea I want the medium one next time). And since I know its expensive I actually use it right (only a quarter sized amount every time, no more no less) so I have never had trouble with it except when I mixed it with too much stuff. It has actually lasted me since August, and I don't plan on running out until around February (6 months or so)... I am guessing the medium sized one I want should last AT LEAST a year. It is so worth the price. My hair lasts longer, stays straighter, doesn't frizz or get crunchy, and feels like silk. Totally my favorite product hands down!:drunk:

I don't blow dry. I put a little on while airdrying then I put some more on as I section my hair to flat iron to make sure my hair is evenly coated with it. It's really good.Ans my hair is still detangled and shiny today.Fighting to keep my hands out.

Gurlll It is the BEST! Nothing compares in my opinion.

The reason it is expensive is because it is supposed to last a long time, you should only use a little, and it really does the trick too. All I need is a quarter sized drop even at 7 mos post.

It is different I guess because it is so concentrated and you can apply it as a leave-in. I like to use a quarter drop of ORS Olive Oil or whatever leave-in I want, then apply a quarter sized drop of CHI SIlk Infusion, then I dry however I want, then I straighten without putting anything else on my hair and my hair comes out bouncy and shiny and sleek and soft and everything!

Silk Elements, So Silk, Biosilk (I own them all)... nothing does it like CHI Silk Infusion :spinning::drunk: I don't know what I would do without it. Even when I don't straighten it actually helps my hair airdry softer and shinier, and my waves even come out more defined!:lick::yep:

Oh its so different. It is a good heat protectant because it uses silk. And when you put it on you hair your hands even feel silky. Its really light and not sticky. And it detangles so well it's unreal.Yes it is really that good.

I would use it with whatever you use to rollerset with, it gets rid of frizz and makes your hair come out soft. Like if you used Lacio Lacio or whatever people on here use, maybe you could use a drop of CHI Silk Infusion with it?

I would never use the 44 Iron Guard for a roller set or much else. I have it but I only use it when I am feeling brave... it is loaded with Alcohol (you can even smell it) and makes my ends look chewed up and crispy.

When I was researching and I looked on here I saw how you raved about. Do you still use it all the time? How is your hair now from the result of using it(basically do you think it's helped with your hairs health?)

definitely going to try this out with my flat iron in may.

any naturals use/have really good results with this???

i've been eyeing it.

BOOMSHA!

yes, the CHI is totally awesome. the funny thing is, i've never gotten the same results as the first time i used it. however, i get excellent results when i do use it. i guess it shocked my hair...lol.

Ok... thanks. That's good to know about the 44 Iron Guard because my hair gets dry if you look at it too long. So, no alcohol for me.

I m not natural but--- Right now I have almost 4in of NG from transitioning and it keeps it straight for a long time when I use my CHI flat iron. I straightened on Saturday and here it is Tuesday evening and my roots are still straight (actually straighter than it was when I would straighten my hair 3 weeks post relaxer).
